I'm still figuring out how to get online with my Black game. My wireless connection is crummy. Apparently I need to sign up with Nintendo first or something. I have no idea what my friend code is, or where to get it.

you get your pal pad when you get your C-Gear. so to get your Friend Code look in your key items bag.

To connect to the internet to trade you don't need to sign up at nintendo.com, thats just for dreamworld. once you have your palpad and stuff go to the pokecenter, and up the stairs talk to the middle lady. she should get you set up to trade over wifi.

Cool. I'll give that a try and see it if works with my wireless. Do I need to have a trade planned out first?

My "online" section is still red on the inside, which apparently means I need to set something up. Is that just for dreamworld, also?

red as in the color it is on the C-Gear skin?

The "online" section when the C-gear is on (as opposed to infared or wireless) is red inside the little hexagons.

its supposed to be that color. i think it changes color if you change skins tho. just go to the pokecenter and up the stairs :3

Alright. I'll have to update my trainer card then! Could stick my lone little Abra on it too. DK's "eevee" in her trainer post needs serious updating. :P ;)

You know I don't have anything with surf yet? I just haven't bothered. I suppose it would make sense to teach it to my samurott since he's nearly always in my party.

What about an emolga? The flying squirrel things. I'd have to catch one of those too, but I think I know where they are. Then there's always some random thing that you can release as soon as you get it, if you don't care. ;)
