I have been wondering if there is any reason to collect the rubies and treasure from the game. I still can't understand if there is any use for them.

Yeah, there is also talk of them making them into actual items for you to use though.

They have hinted at the possibility since some people don't need the event currency. They want some incentive to play the game.

I wondered about them since I did not need any more rations or water at this time. I read that they might give them an equipable pose, so I made sure to get one or two of each ruby and treasure.

I wonder what the last event item will be.
