Yeah, the overall popularity of these sorts of sites is dropping.

I think if I want to grow much beyond just...gobbling up other avatar site users, gotta get into mobile apps and games.

You'll get the occasional new user who's not from other avatar sites (I've dragged a couple people here in the past few months that post occasionally), but it's not like it was when Gaia had 100k people online at slow times, heh.

most of the people i hang with prefer sites with virtual pets.. ono ones that don't die are prefered if one loses net .. >->,

Yeah, ones that die if you leave them for a few weeks are no fun at all...

And ones that require clicks, people are starting to leave those behind too... Especially if there aren't any alternatives to level them. Knuffle has countered that by giving energy pills, and items tht keep energy/hunger up and give exp

Right now Flight Rising is the biggest star in the pet world. No clicks needed, no one dies. Dress up the dragons. They grow after so many days.. No restrictions on breedings..

I've always thought the "get clicks to grow" type sites feel very, uh, cheap. Very transparent attempt to get ad impressions.

I like pets that I can dress up, give lore to, and breed.. but FR seems to be the only one like that, that I know of.. I wanna do that with cats, tigers, wolves.. all kinds >x<

Uhh, katsudon is pork cutlet over rice in a bowl XD.

The Japanese store around my home sells a lot of "--don"s, which are all stuff over rice. For example, unagidon is eel over a rice bowl (unagi = eel).

That's possible XD. The mayonnaise, or whatever the tan stuff is sure does look noodle-colored. That, and rice and noodles both get slurped, I'm guessing XD

Hehe, I've never had Katsudon, but I've had gyudon (beef), unagidon (eel), and tempura-don :D
