Well, I hope they will spread then. XD

Blaine 05-14-2011 02:32 PM

I want to play Team Fortress 2, man. T:

Angel Spirit Girl 05-14-2011 02:57 PM

I would like to get Sims Medieval, but I have other things calling for my money.

Seloria 05-15-2011 12:14 AM

I would love to get a million things, but so far, no job.... blarg!

I think it would be awesome to have a MovieStop up here, I do hope they branch out.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-15-2011 04:48 PM

I am in need of employment myself. v.v

Bill Compton 05-15-2011 05:11 PM

As am I, I apply everywhere. I think I just need to wait till I move out. More places to work.

Seloria 05-15-2011 05:53 PM

Where I live there aren't a lot of places to work as I'm in a small farming town, so there aren't any malls or anything. In town we have a few shops like a pharmacy and grocery store, a couple banks... that sorta thing. Nothing all that expansive though so there are a lot of limitations when it comes to work. I'm looking into some options that would allow me to work from home though, as I have to think of some other alternatives to make my money. My sister does a job on the side of her regular day job where she is a sales rep for all natural products, and I'm going to see about getting signed up for that. I'll have to see if it works out for me though as it's not for everyone but I won't know until I give it a shot...

So today I was playing New Super Mario Bros with Cale and our nephews (9 and 19 years old). I've come to realize that playing a co-op game with a 9 year old who only cares about him getting the items and making it to the end, even if that means brutally killing your team-mates, really sucks! Oh well though, it kept us entertained for a while I guess.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-15-2011 07:26 PM

I just don't feel like I know how to go looking for a job. v.v

Currently, I am trying to sell knives by home appointment, but I have no referrals. #.#

A friend of mine tried to sell knives that way too, maybe the same company even, but it didn't work out for him. Though I can't say for sure that he really tried, so I don't think it was for him anyway.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-15-2011 09:42 PM

I don't have that large a circle of family, friends, and close neighbors. So, that has been a problem.

Yes. It is a big company, so it could have been the same one.

I am planning on going to a seasonal job at a cookie factory in the summer and fall.

Oooh a cookie factory would be fun to work in.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-15-2011 10:00 PM

It's pretty good as a job. It can be a bit dull though since it is just "cookie in tray" all day.

Any job I find can get a little monotonous though... Well as long as it's not a bad job and is helping you pay for your living then it's alright. Getting a discount on cookies would totally make it worth it, if you do.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-16-2011 06:35 PM

Yup. I get cookie discounts. <3

It will be nice to get paid.

Waiting for unemployment compensation makes me a bit nervous.

Seloria 05-17-2011 10:55 AM

I'm on EI (employment insurance) right now. It kinda sucks, it's about $200 less than I was making every two weeks when I did have a job. So trying to keep up with bills and the mortgage and everything is kinda tough. Cale has a job and we split everything but still, I had to downsize our budget by about $400 a month so... it's not easy!

Angel Spirit Girl 05-17-2011 07:50 PM

$400 a month? Wow! That is quite a bit. I hope that goes OK.
