I like Night Fury's and Ultima's the most, personally. But Serra's Zephyr set has coolness, too. XD

Obsidian's are lovely, but very hard to tell what exactly the emote means, like the animations change too slowly or the mouths are too small and they end up looking the same. Emote should instantly get across it's idea. But I like the idea at the base.

Mine are a Phoenix but look more towards the Anka, so their mouths are difficult to pixelize as an 'emote'. I did this out of fun. Don't care who wins.

But I think my emotes are rather on the 'dark' side of the red/orange line. I just didn't feel like fixing that. http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/...e-animated.gif

As for the animation speed, easy fix if you got the correct program. ;) For which I do, but I have other priorities that are number one right now that needs to be taken care of. http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/...e-animated.gif

I do like yours, Night Fury's have problem too, since the white ones are hard to see and mouths have similar small size.

I think that these are legit beginning for what could be awesome smilie set, Obsidian. :) I don't know how long you pixel, but you're quite good at it.

I know I should probably push mine more but I kind of like Ulti's better too...

I've been pixeling for about 2 years, I think. Still learning. This tool shading technique for pixeling is completely new to me and thus been somewhat studying it (or trying to, lol, been BUSY! >.< ) for about a month or two, I think?

I usually have a shop open for my small sprites but I tend to either get too busy or forget about it, then I feel bad for not giving what I promised, so I try not to open at all.

(took me a while but I made some tutorials for animating them and didn't know where I should put them so ended up posting them at the bottom of the first post in my art shop)
