No, I use to be on Gaia under two different names but I have kind of grown out of most of them. Just here and the one called Facebook.

Yay! *dance* I am on kind of easily cause Alpha is at work. Quite room is weird.
|
College student, I work full time during the summer but with my major it is hard to get a job during the year. Anthropology requires a lot of study time.

http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg I see... You shouldn't stress over it coz by the time you graduate, you will have plenty of time to work... and I mean plenty. http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
I don't it is just that I have to so I can pay for things over the school year. My Mum basically stated that she will give me 200 bucks a semester for gas and supplemental books. Extra food and anything fun I have to buy, which is fine with me I typically make 2 grand or so during the summer.

http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg I guess it's part of becoming an adult. But Alpha does help you too right? http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
Yeah more than he needs to at times. He gets paid for national guard and 'managing' the public advertising pages for his mom's business. At the beginning of the year I have more but after Christmas he normally picks up on buying things.
*sighs* Too many family members to buy for at Christmas..... *Spends over 300 dollars at christmas* 7 20 dollar gifts for nieces nephews and my siblings then the rest gets split between my mum, stepdad, two best friends and Chris. |
Ouch thats a lot of money for Christmas presents tiva >w< my family does a raffle for presents so we only have to buy for one or two people
|
It is more because the 5 kids I have to buy for, all under 13, and that my sister's get mad if I don't because my mum won't put my name of their gift to them.
I wish we had a raffle, but the adult to child ratio doesn't work out well. Nor does the spending ratio. My mum and stepdad can afford to spend a lot, as can my middle sister because her husband is an E6 (Ithink) and they have a lot of money saved. My Oldest sister and her husband don't... they normally end up having to borrow money from my parents when they come up from Fort Polk because they bought things before the economy busted and all of their buys went bad (Reverse mortgage on two cars and their house went down by a lot). It is a lot to spend on my family, and I wish they didn't put the pressure on me but I have gotten use to it. I budget it out to where I have it saved and keep to the budget but it still is sad to look at it after December. |
I can imagine there are like no kids in my family =/ mainly due to my extended family is all in the south so i really only have about 2-3 people to buy for with the raffle
|
Nice, mine is close-ish. I just don't see anyone because I am 5 hours away from home most of the year.
|
i hardly see my moms side of the family >w> they dont really do much with/for me
|
Eh, I don't see or speak to most of my actual Dad's family. Or a lot of my Mom's for that matter. It is mostly my stepdad's family.
|
Yea i mainly see my dads side of the family

Cazzidy needs to post more.. I get up in the morning now thanks to work so I may be able to drag Alpha up to chat with you.
|
http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg I know I really need to post more... I am way behind in the event... You have work now? http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
*scratches head and wanders in* Well, today was an early day for me, I just kinda forgot to get on Tris after my workout. And you and me both Cazz, I'll be lucky to get one of each item.....
So, how have you been? |
http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg You're not as active as before too? I'm good but the whole week is a sick week for me... http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
Nope, been busy, and won't really be on for a good two months or so.....I've been doing better though.
And sick week? Oh noes! Hopefully nothing bad. |
http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg it's nothing bad... common cold and cough only... you have work or school? http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
Well, bit of both. My basic training for the Army National Guard.
And not too bad then, just hate the down feeling overall, eh? |
http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg I see... Your schedule is quite hectic... Army National Guard? Is that voluntary or some sort of requirement? http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
It's voluntary. It's like enlisting for Active Service in the Army, but you work for the state *lives in US* instead of the Nation as a whole. Basically after all my training is finished I will be serving one weekend a month and two weeks a year up until I graduate from college and pursue a commission in the Active Armed Forces (namely the Army, not so big on the other branches of the US military, but that's just me).
|
http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg I see... You really want to be a member of the army... It's a noble thing to do, to be able to serve the country, well in your case, serve your state... http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
Yeah, it's just the environment and the brotherhood is something that I thrive in and love. It's like nothing else. And for now, it will be the state. Once I get a commission for Active Duty as an officer hopefully after graduating college I will be released from my current contract and signed on a new one reporting within the structure of the Nation's Military.

http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg wow! then that means you will be far from Tiva for a certain time? http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
Well, for the three months or so of officer training, some. She can visit though on weekends. Also, she and I have talked about it, and she says that when it comes to moving for my assignments she wants to move with me. Only time she and I would absolutely be apart would be whenever I deployed overseas. One thing I could do to limit that though would be to request an assignment in South Korea, Japan, or one of a few other places in the Asia/Pacific region. That, or possibly over in Europe.
Honestly though, being apart from Tiva is the hardest part of any training or assignment I have or would have. I can take the yelling, the physical exertion, the heat, long days, etc. |
http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...s/PostLogo.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg She keeps you sane of course, she's you fiance after all... You both can get through it... Wish you both the best... By the way, I have to go now... I have an appointment in an hour and I still need to prepare... http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ds/PostSep.jpg http://tinyurl.com/7qbsba7 http://tinyurl.com/8xqbcrg http://tinyurl.com/7agyza6 http://tinyurl.com/7svo9xy http://tinyurl.com/6qsdydd http://tinyurl.com/86u6m8k http://tinyurl.com/7gcmd6o http://tinyurl.com/6w6wfho |
That she does. She and I are planning that by that point she and I will be married. Thanks for the wishes.
Hope the appointment goes/went well. |
