"I eat sweet stuff because I have a high metabolism, and my body tells me it needs it..." he looked to his cord for a moment and kissed it lightly before holding it out to him "Does it make it more appealing now I've kissed it?" he'd ask wondering why he hadn't take it "I'm fine with my dessert would you like to try some of mine?" he scooped up some of the dessert and moved it to Ryou's mouth

"ah sure. It holds more meaning but you're much cuter than any cords. I'm the same way, but I can get energy from any foods I eat." Ryou gladly accepted both offerings anyway. He would love to taste those lips more than the yoghurt though. He didn't let those thoughts go away as it was more innocent.

Blinked hearing Ryou's words "c-cute?" he say innocently, he really didn't understand how one boy could say that to another "Cords are life flowers, beautiful in their simplicity" he say, his voice showed this was his way of thinking "I get sugar from all foods, just not to the amounts I need to keep my body running" he say eating a little more food in blissful innocence at the others wants

"going to be a poet now, hmm?" Ryou joked. It was still very cute. "Still cute. Whatever you say ends up that way." He looked at him for a moment. "ah. See so long as I have a full stomach I'm content and awake. Junk around lunch and in class is all I really need. Then I wind down around 1am usually."

"A poet?" he sounded confused for a moment and shook his hair, his raven hair now loose dancing around his lithe form "I'll need to get a new cord before heading to next class" he say yawning a little a little of his frozen yoghurt dribbling down the side of his lips, he wiped it away after a moment "I'm not cute" he pout a little before sighing "I wish I was as lucky, but I need sugar..." he closed his eyes and played around with his dessert "I guess I am what they call me... a sugar junkie" his voice was sorrow filled and showed distaste to being called such horrible things, he pushed his dessert away "I don't want it all of a sudden"

"Ignore them then. And you are. I mean have you ever been picked on for your looks? I wouldn't think that to be true. Though that's just my opinion. Wanna go back then?" Ryou asked, going to pack up the yoghurt for him for later. He would stick it in the freezer when they got back. "Is it almost class time yet?"

"How can you ignore the truth Ryou? I require sugar like an addict..." he closed his eyes and shook his head a little, his hair moving with the gentle swaying movement "You have seen what happens if I don't get it" his voice showing he was disgusted with himself and how he was, but sighed and nodded "Know what it's like to be called princess and be chosen for female rolls on everything..." he stood slowly his head falling forward as he felt drained his hair covering his face "Then there is work as well I wear female cosplay because it suits me" he moved away from table his hand going to his mouth has he felt sick but lowered it and slowly moved out from the cafeteria towards the room.

Entering the room he went to his bead and instantly fell onto it and within a few seconds gentle breathing was heard as he fell asleep

Ryou sighed, not wanting to take the compliment as being called a girl or anything like that. He couldn't help but tuck him in the bed when they got back. He would wake him 10 minutes before class. Give him some of the sugar and hopefully survive the rest of the school day. There was maybe an hour left before class started. He tidied up while Kyoshi slept.

Kyoshi took the sugar that was given to him subconsciously while he slept unfortunately was his form had been deprived of to much sugar for to long and so didn't wake up even when he was nudged for class his breathing so slow and quiet that you would actually believe he was quite literally dead

Ryou sighed, shaking and nudging the boy and yet nothing budged him. He wondered if he should go to the school nurse and get an excused note from class or something. He at least though of something, lifting Kyoshi and carrying him out to the kitchen. "come on wake up. Class is in 10 minutes."

Kiyoshi remained asleep no matter how much or how violently he was nudged or shook he remained asleep, as he was carried he lay limp in Ryou's arms, though soft breathing and the occasional quiet giggle was easily heard as a light blush came to his now snow white skin

"What the heck are you dreaming of?" Riyo wondered, thinking he should go to the clinic after all. Kyoshi could attend class after he woke up or something and he would get a note for the both of them as to why he was late and kyoshi was not there. So he waited at the clinic to get in, receiving the notice and was sent away for now to class. He entered the class a little late, handing the teacher the note as he sat.

Though he slept he mimicked a single word a few words each time the blush getting a little brighter each time. still his form remained limp in Ryou's body his form somewhat cold to the touch.

The nurse walking in from nurse seeing the two boys took Kyoshi from Ryou and checked for temperature "What happened to him, he seems dead... did he drown?" she would enquirer in quite a serious tone, she began to write up the notes "What caused this?" her voice showing she was concerned for her unconscious patient, but sent Ryou off to class with the notes.

The teacher looked to Ryou "Nice of you to join us, I do hope you have a good reason for arriving to my class fifteen minutes late..." he say moving his hand to take the notes "And where is your partner in crime?" he say in a skeptical tone but looking down he read the to notes, then back to Ryou "You are dismissed, go to the nurses office come back after class I will have notes, some exercises and an assignment for you and your partner" he say with a sigh writing out a hall pass and holding it out

Ryou had also brought the medical report from Kyoshi's drawer, handing it to the nurse as he walked back inside. He Stayed beside the bed after handing her the medical thing. Hoping he would come to soon so they could get the notes from class. The teacher didn't look happy but what could have been done.

The nurse took the report and opened it reading through everything in detail "If you know about this report why didn't bring it before?" she ask him not taking her eyes off the notes "How often has he had sugar since he came to school?" she would ask him before he walked to where the sleeping Kyoshi was

"quite a bit a day. Usually something sweet whenever he eats. I didn't because he doesn't know that I found that." Ryou said honestly. He hoped he would be alright. But at least his record would be on file now. "That's all I know though." He sat and waited, wondering what could be done. "He didn't have that much today, trying to break the habit. He didn't like being teased about it."

The nurse listened to Ryou "says everything is fine, but his body is reliant on sugar, this could be because he has constantly stimulates his mind this way to help him cope with things" she looked to Ryou "Has he been under any stress?" her voice soft "When did he start showing signs of not being to well?" she enquired, it was through this she could estimate a time he would be well again and what kind of treatment would be best "Ryou unfortunately, this is now part of him... he will always need the sugar in large amounts his form relies on it heavily and if it doesn't get it his body will blackout or in the worse case scenario shut down completely into a coma or worse" she said in brutal honesty, they where room mates so she thought it best prepare ryou for what could and would happen

"hmm probably since the first day. He was really stressed out then. Nobody helped with that. Early this morning he blanked out." Ryou said, as he was asked. "He's going to have to be honest with himself then too. Then he won't try and avoid it." He also showed what he had packed that day for the both of them. "I don't eat half as much as he does, since I can get my stimulated energy from all foods."

"being stressed makes your heart beat faster, making your body metabolize things quicker" she say with a sigh, placing the file down "What does he do to relax and when was the last time he done so?" she ask listening to what Ryou had to say "If he blacked out this morning it must mean he didn't have enough sugar in his system for at least thirty six hours" she say going to her desk to work out some things "You are right, he will have to be honest with himself but when you are teased it makes it that much harder" she say honestly knowing may patients what couldn't accept the truth through bulling

"He never stops. He only gets maybe 5 hours of sleep in a day or something. He's always doing something." Ryou sighs. He tried to get him to stop doing things. "But drawing and hobbies whenever he has time he'll do too." Ryou nodded about the lack of sugar. "He conflicted himself today with that. I tried my best but I dunno if it did much good."

"the sugar is a double edged sword as it makes him into an insomniac, so 5 hours is good but still needs more so I will be asking that he is given times he is required to nap threw-out the day" she say hoping to at least that "he doesn't sop?" hearing that how the... that's just wrong, why doesn't he take breaks?" she was worried about her sleeping patient "what about you?

" I'm much lazier and don't know all the daily things to do to survive on my own. But if he let's me help. Things would get done quicker and he probably would have more time to rest. But he's stubborn like that and won;t rest when he doesn't want to." Ryou said honestly. "I'm fine for sleeping."

"I don't believe he does it because he is being stubborn, more out the need to keep busy" she say sending an email to Kyoshi's doctor giving him an update and wanting to see the best course of action "Unfortunately, you can't force an insomniac to sleep, no more than you can get someone who needs to keep to sit still" she say looking over the notes once more noticing that unlike every other child in the school he went to a public health center "What does he do when school is out, other than assignments"

"He works. He's always on the go." Ryou said honestly. He kind of thought that Kyoshi was also one of the types to never sit still as well as the insomnia type. Sure Ryou had a little bit of that too, but he knew when to sleep. He didn't like the fact that Kyoshi was making him worry like this.

"According to his file he shouldn't be working, he is only fourteen" she say with a low tone "Why on earth would a fourteen year old need a job?" she sounded a little agitated about it all as she read the reply "Do you know where he works?" she say standing, going to a locked cabinet "because I am going to be going to get his employer to dismiss him" she say taking our a syringe, placing it into a bottle she took out the dosage she had been recommended to give. Walking over to both boys she removed Kyoshi's blazed and shirt being careful that she didn't hurt the fragile doll of a boy. Finding a good vain she injected him with the medicine "he'll be out for the rest of today, will feel weak and drowsy for the next few days but the sugar will help him" she moved back to dispose of the needle safely "Even if you have to tie him down and force feed him... you need to make sure he has sugar" she say in seriousness

Ryou nodded. He was shocked when he heard kyoshi was only 14. "He works to afford things. He's the only one here that had to work hard to get in." Ryou said in honesty. He still knew it was not good for a 14 year old to work. Though they were allowed with their parent's consent. He nodded at what he would have to do. "the cosplay cafe." He said a little saddened as he wouldn't be there much anymore probably. "Will he be fine for the rest of the classes through the week?"

"Cosplay cafe?" she sounded a little surprise that the owner would hire someone so young, she bit her lip hearing that he worked so he could get things, she knew if she stopped him from working there would be little chance of him getting through the school year, as stationary would be needed as well as the requirement for sugar "I can't go and ask the owner to dismiss him, he needs to survive and unlike anyone else he doesn't have the financial backing" it frustrated her but she was caught between morals "So longs he has sugar regularly and isn't doing to much of anything he should be fine, small tasks like cooking will be fine so longs he is kept an eye on and I'll give a note to him to give his employer so he knows that he should be given more breaks"

Ryou nodded. "alright. Yeah I'm kind of in the middle too. If he had riches like the rest of us then there would be no excuses." He wondered when he'd wake, seeing as they'd need to collect their work after classes ended. What they'd missed and what was for homework anyway. He also felt a little like we could be robbing a cradle by having this crush.

"I'm fifteen next week" Kyoshi muttered opening his eyes to a narrow slit "Please don't talk about me like I'm not here, that's just rude" he smile weakly his eyes closing "Do I want to know why I'm shirtless and what hit me?" his voice was very faint as he spoke moving his hand to be flat he began to push himself up but the nurse came in and pushed him down lightly

"We will get you to your room but you will not be strong enough for the next twenty four hours to support your own head weight let alone your entire body weight" she said scolding him Kyoshi just lay there and took it "You foolish boy, you must know by now your body needs sugar or you crash" she picked up the blazer and shirt before picking up Kyoshi "Pay no mind to the misunderstandings of others, you have someone here who worries for you" she say moving out of the clinic and towards their room listening to Kyoshi's gentle breathing knowing it was again asleep.

Entering the room she looked to the two beds guessing that the messy one would by Kyoshi's as he had come into the clinic unconscious "I will pick up all the notes for your class's and drop them off when I take my break at six fifteen" she say tucking in the sleeping boy "I don't want him alone while he is like this

Ryou nodded. He understood why as he was stubborn and would probably try to get up. His birthday was next week hmm. Ryou thought he should get something for it. He didn't want Kyoshi to know he was buying him anything though. If he could sew or something he would make something but for now, he would buy stuff. He decided to talk to him even though he knew he was asleep. "sorry for talking about you so much but it was her fault. She was asking me things since you weren't awake. Like right now. And you better stay like this for the rest of the night." He waited for the nurse to get back as he sat watch, wondering if some sort of stuffed animal would be good for him.

As she had stated she came by at six fifteen with their homework and notes and tasks that had been covered "You both have an extension under the circumstances" she say her eyes gazing over at the still sleeping Kyoshi "Have you eaten anything?" her voice showing concern for Ryou, he already stated he didn't have all the life skills

Ryou shook his head, he hadn't eaten since lunch before Kyoshi had passed out. There were mostly unhealthy quick to microwave foods in the freezer but that was all. That's what he said. He moved from the room to the kitchen, looking for something but not really finishing anything that was freezer food that he wanted.

The nurse sighed hearing he hadn't eaten "Do you go to the cafeteria or do you order in?" she wondered how the two boys lived as she didn't really think that a fourteen year old would be able to cook a proper meal and as Ryou had already said he couldn't cook "Or is everything frozen?" she wondered, she knew she was asking a lot of questions but with how one was and the other not leaving his side she worried for them both "I could cook you something if you like" she offer him seeing him going through the freezer

"most of the foods are frozen, but there are ones that aren't. That's where he would do stuff here. The frozen things were from my family. But really I don't even know how to turn the oven or stove on. I sometimes go out but that's to the cafe where he works. The cafeteria food. Nope...don't trust the stuff." Ryou said honestly. He knew for a fact that Kyoshi was the one cooking around here even if he didn't stop. He found some somewhat healthy sounding things in the freezer. Little meals. He wondered if they were or not.

She look to him for a moment "He is fourteen takes on full time education, a full-time job and cooks?" she shook her head "Your right he never stops" she moved over to Kyoshi and nudged him a little "Kyoshi, time to awaken for a little while... you need to eat something" her voice was gentle as she watched his eyes open

"I-I need to make dinner" he say weakly, he was trying to move but none of his limbs where listening to him "I need to get up, Ryou will burn our dorm to the ground" he chuckled a little before coughing

The nurse moved to help him sit up "I will go get something from a restaurant I go to, and bring you both back dinner" she say contently "Ryou get him something sugar filled" with that the nurse would walk out of the room

Ryou's eye twitched. "I heard that." But generally played along in laughing in agreement. "alright. What'll it be...? pocky, your yoghurt, uh what else is in here like that besides your chocolate too?" He asked hunting around. He could go for some pocky...with a game included though.

"You know you would burn down the school if you where let near a cooker" he laugh weakly. Hearing the selection, but hearing he wasn't allowed his chocolate he pouted but yawned a little "Your choice, your the one standing" he say truthfully

"hmm well the pocky would only be useful with the pocky game. Though I'd be alright with that one. Either that or the yoghurt. or both." Ryou pondered. The yoghurt had more sugar but he just really wanted a chance at those lips. So he gave his answers, hoping for any others. "it's between those two."

Kyoshi blinked and tilted his head so he could see into the kitchen "I am not in the mood for frozen yoghurt and I don't know the pocky game is there a third choice?" he would enquirer "If not then I'll take the pocky, so longs you teach the game since you want to play I guess" he sounded tired and drained, he had completely forgot the other boy had mentions about the game holding a dare from a few days ago

Ryou looked around."just cookies and other frozen things. The pocky game is easy. It's more of a dare. Ever see the disney movie lady and the tramp? It's like the spaghetti only with pocky. The one who eats the most wins." He would give Kyoshi some before any game would happen just to get the sugar in him. He brought in some cookies and the boxes of pocky.
