Jurinjo retired to his quarters as well. The first thing he did was look through the clothes he brought along for this contest. He had a giant suitcase but even so it was impossible just to decide what to bring. At least something here could double as formal wear...well with that settled maybe he should mingle. Nah they could wait, right now he needed a good rest. ((which means I need some rest before work -yawn-))

Perhaps if he bothered to think before he would've have set his alarm. When his eyes opened to darkness he worried immediately of being late to that formal thing. But then White had said tomorrow night so he was good for the time being.

((I didn't panic but the first thing I checked was if anything had happened here. Apparently not...))

Duchess had spent her entire night sleeping peacefully in a lovely pink silk nightgown. She arose at about 11 am after quite a long rest.

"Ufufufufu~" She giggled while clinging to her pillow. It was obvious to anyone that saw her like this, that was excited. However, Duchess never let anyone see her with her guard down like this.

She called up her chef to cook her some delicious late breakfast. It was never too late for breakfast. She'd be staying in her room for most of the day. She wished to surprise the other contestants with sheer radiance of her beauty and the splendour of her gown. Everything must be perfect...

A slender hand creep out from under the cover reaching over to the night stand by the bed to shut off his alarm clock. Looking out from under the covers a purple eye glowed to look at the time. It seems it was almost noon, sighing into the pillow Nikko placed his phone down then turned over he stayed up a little to late trying to figure out what he would wear to the dinner that evening when it would come.

Having hit the snooze button on her clock every seven minutes for the past couple of hours, Espy finally managed to clamber out of bed without leaving the bedsheets in a lump on the ground. Ah shite. It's already noon... she thought. I....I blame the bed for being too comfortable!

Pulling on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt, she grabbed her iPod and brought her laptop downstairs to the lobby.

Being one early to wake had its advantages. LIke the quiet time he got simply walking about the grounds without any disturbance or worry about another person. Jurinjo was dressed very modestly in a plain shorts and black tee with flip-flops. His messy bed-head in a pony-tail, he looked very down to Earth. Even after consuming breakfast he barely saw anyone. Was there something going on he did not know about? Until someone finally showed Jurinjo stayed in his seat reading a music magazine.

Slipping from under the covers Nikkoo got out of the bed and wondered into the bathroom took a shower, once he was done he got dressed taking his book and laptop bag with him going down to the lobby for lunch to see what was going on. "I wonder who is up and about today?" he thought to him self getting on the elevator heading down to the lobby.

Nikko Blinked some as he adjusted his sleeves some with the book in his hand looking down at the book, looked up as the elevator doors opened up and headed off to the elevator he dropped his bag off to the front desk for the dinner but held on to his book. "Good thing I got dressed a bit early" he though to him self.

Duchess heard a knock on her door and sent one of her stylists to open it. She had spent the entire afternoon in relaxation, soaking her toes and hands, softening her face and treating her hair. She decided on her attire since the night before out of sheer excitement so there was no last minute rushing for this "princess".

One of her butlers appeared and told her that he witnessed two of the judges and one contestant enter the dining room. He had been standing watch over the area while she prepared. Her eyes twinkled and she flew off of the lounge chair in a flurry, knocking over her manicurist.

"Oops~" She apologized to the lady while sticking her tongue out innocently. "But I simply must get ready darlings! Shoo shoo!" She shoved them out of her room, with exception of Jess and slammed the door behind them.

"Oh Jess-dear. I do believe it is time!" Duchess grinned at the woman who nodded and began to help her undress.

((ooc: I should totally add some yuri here XDD but i won't =P))

It took over an hour to re-dress the Duchess in two corsets and a kimono as well as to correctly fasten these giant dark horns unto the sides of her head. Her style was definitely unique and extravagant, choosing to adorn her head with purple jewels and a golden thick collar around her with a purple diamond.

A fan and a long black shawl were her only accessories... she had Jess to hold her purse, while her room key was tucked safely into her under-most corset. As she left her room, went down the elevator, and through the dinning hall's doors, she made sure that Jess threw gold glitters all around her, letting everyone know that "The Duchess" had arrived at around 6:15pm.

((please note that it took at least 1 hour for her to get ready so I'm expecting that more people have arrived before she did even if you havent posted yet XDD))

Time had gotten a hold of Night once again. Seeing that the formal dinner was approaching, she stood and left the pool to head back to her room. She let out a soft sigh as she walked over to her closet to begin searching for what a wear. Night smiled and pulled out a short green dress, then placed that down on her bed. She then went to search through her suitcase for a few other things. A black corset, a green headpiece, two long black ribbons, and two black sleeves. After putting those out, she searched her other suitcase for what shoes she should wear. She headed into the bathroom, making sure to bring everything with her, and took a relaxing shower before dressing herself. She fixed her hair up so it was parted over one eye, and the rest up in a bun in the back on her head. Once ready, she grabbed a small black bag and left the room, heading down to the dining room.

The day just came and went. Anticipation for this event building up in him til he was about to burst. What was everyone going to wear? He had to stand out...but not too much. In the end he opted for something fairly simple. He layered his jeans undernearth a pair of "shorts" with a green wrap around his waist that made nice highlight of his strong thighs (or at least gave an illusion they were strong). His boots and gloves were a matching a green to that of his collar. All the green was kept spread out a in small portions to the black as his gloves were covered by a black arm warmer. The one piece that made his outfit "formal" (despite his use of a mesh shirt which showed at his shoulders) was the vest with 3 silver buttons.

Everything complimented his green eyes. Finally as the very last thing he did Jurinjo fixed up his hair. Pulling it up in a spiked pony tail and spiking his bangs yet keeping it from obscuring most of his face.

Just as with the rest of the day Jurinjo go in early. Part of making up for yesterday he guessed.

After a dip in the pool and a sweat in the sauna, Ginger rushed up to her room. She had to hurry to get everything ready before dinner with the judges and contestants! She rang up the salon to make an appointment to get her hair, nails, and makeup done right after her shower.

In her robe, 15 minutes later, she went for the dress she found at the mall yesterday, hanging up in the closet of her room. She paused, took a deep breath, reached out, and touched the soft fabric. She then grabbed it by the hanger and laid it softly on her bed before slipping it on.

Glancing into the mirror over her shoulder, she realized her dress would turn heads. Quickly, she called the salon and had three squad members come up to her room with their supplies. She wanted a trim to have that fresh hair feeling, with a sophisticated up-do. She had the perfect image of the makeup she wanted.

They arrived and went crazy for about half an hour to get Ginger all done and ready. After they finished, they spun her around. She gazed at herself in the mirror with disbelief. She didn't even recognize herself, but she loved it.

Now, it was time to wait for the judges and the other contestants to be ready. The front desk would page her room once the judges were in the lobby, ready for everyone to arrive. Ginger's anticipation was building.

((and it is lookling like nothing will happen while I am still here darn. -goes to get ready for work- There's ice on the roads tonight -sighs- I hate being so careful))

After a quick shower, Espy rummaged through her luggage, looking for a suitable dress. Finally finding one after several minutes, she slipped it on, went to the bathroom, and gawked at her hair.

When the hell'd it get thiiiiiis messy?! Frantically running her fingers through her bangs, she decided to have it up in a messy bun. Putting on a necklace and earring, she checked her hair again in the mirror, then ran to put her sandals on. She wasn't too comfortable with even short heels, but this would have to suffice.

Slipping on two silver rings, she slipped her room key into her purse and left the room.

Airu had stayed in her room most of the day working on a few thing. After she fished with her few projects she got on her outfit for the night. Which was composed of a green and black top to match with her long slit skirt. She had straightened her hair for this occasion and added a little green and black clip to hold her bangs to the side. She slipped on some long arm warmers and then slipped her boots on. Shutting the door behind her she carried her phone and wallet in her hand. Airu arrived down at the dinner room and glanced around to see who all had arrived yet.

As exciting as watching TV alone in her room was, Ginger picked up the remote and flicked off the television. She decided it was a good time to see if anyone was at the dinner room yet. She slipped on her heels, checked to see if she had her room key, and made her way down the hall, into the lobby, and through the dinner room door. Upon arrival, she spotted Airu waiting patiently for everyone to be seated.

She approached Airu with a big smile and said "Hey, how have you been? Have you been enjoying yourself at the resort? I know I have." Ginger pulled out a chair next to Airu and sat with her hands folded in her lap. "Everyone should be arriving soon. I can hardly wait to see all of them dressed up."

Ginger looked over and saw Wicked approaching the table. She pulled out the chair to her left and invited her to sit next to her.

Nikko got up from a seat in the lobby headed into the dining area looked about saw the table that they all had sat at before he let out a soft sigh.

After a short time, Ginger noticed how few of the contestants where arriving. But as she was looking around, Nikko appeared. She gave Nikko a smile and gestured for him to sit across the table from her. "How are you this evening, Nikko?"

Lucid had spent most of the day relaxing in the spa, since she had settled on an outfit the night before. She noticed many of the other contestants coming and going throughout the day, but she paid them little mind. This was her time to find her center. Feeling refreshed, Lucid went back to her room and dressed in a pale pink dress and matching long gloves, accented by a black corset and black & white ribbons. She finished off the ensemble with a white and pink tiara, then laced up her favorite platform heels. Hoping to arrive much later than most of the other contestants, in order to force them to take notice of her, Lucid made her way downstairs and into the ballroom where they were to be dining that evening.

Espy slipped silently into the ballroom. She has just taken a breath outside; she was never too great around people in a formal setting. Looking around, she was amazed: The people who, just a day before had been in more casual attire, were now decked out in their finest displays. There weren't too many people downstairs yet, so Espy could afford to keep a small distance for a while.

Besides the people, the ballroom itself was a wonderful place, with luxurious curtains around the huge windows that spanned the room from ceiling to floor, and beautiful tapestries in a wide array of colors. Several tables already had a few appetizers on them, and the tablecloths, chairs, and platters all matched the grand air of the ballroom.

((Ok, I won't be on Tris until 4 PST today/tomorrow/Wednesday/whatever...Have fun XD))

Nikko looked over to Ginger nodded some walking over to the table taking the seat across from her. "Evening Ginger how are you?" he asked her.

Ginger was still smiling as Nikko took his seat. "I'm great! I am really excited for everyone to show up. How about you? You look dashing for the dinner." She eyed the treats in the center of the table. "These appetizers look amazing." Ginger plucked a baked Crab Rangoon from an appetizer plate and took a small bite. Her eyes suddenly lit up and sparkled. "Oh my gosh! You have to try this..." She was a seafood fiend. She especially loved Asian platters.

Unconsciously tuning in to random conversations in the ballroom, Espy restrained the urge to run over to the table and try the appetizer that Ginger had just tasted.

((Crap, will be back in an hour and a half.))

"I'm well a little shy about everything and about being here." as he reached over took one, having a bite out of it. "This is good."

Nodding with understanding, Ginger agreed. "Yeah, I'm pretty new to this kind of thing myself. I don't know what to say half the time and I worry about making myself seem weird. I guess this is a learning experience for the judges and the contestants alike." Ginger giggled when he tried the appetizer. "Told ya. This resort really has some great chefs."

She looked over and a waiter was coming to the table with a stack of 13 menus. He sat each one neatly at every chair. A waitress came by with two pitchers of ice water and placed them at each end of the table. Ginger looked through the seafood section in the menu and her mouth watered.

About six minutes later, a different waiter came to our table and cleared his throat. "Hello and how is everyone this evening? Is everyone ready to order?" Ginger sat up tall in her chair. She was ready to eat! She waited to see if anyone was going to order first, and when she felt the coast was clear, she replied "Yes, I think I'm ready. I'd like the Crab Stuffed Salon with buttered rice, steamed brussel sprouts, and fried shrimp wontons on the side. For a drink I'd like hot lemon tea please. That would be it for me, thank you." The waiter jotted little notes on his paper as fast as he could as she was ordering. "Alright thank you, miss. Is anyone else ready?"

Espy had taken a seat at the same table, and was flipping through the menu slowly. "I might need another minute. Would anyone else like to go first?" she asked, skimming down the pasta section and checking for spiciness. She was not one to handle chili peppers well.

Nikko looked the Menu over looking to see what he would want as he saw Ginger order then Espy pass hers up for a bit more time. The man nodded some looked to the waiter about what he would like to order for him self. "I would like to have the baked salmon with the prime steak that comes with a some rice mixed veggies and glass of black berry Marlo please" he said top the man then looked up at Ginger, "One for Miss Ginger also. If that is okay for her lady ship." he asked her.

Ginger accepted Nikko's offer of the Blackberry Merlot. She hadn't tried it before, but judging by the photo on the menu it looked tasty. She had a feeling it was going to tickle her taste buds.

The waiter nodded some walked away. "Thank you for accepting my offer Ginger." he smiled to her, he was timid person. For man who stood about 6'8" with strange different colored eyes he was shy but that how he always been even as a child come to think of it Ginger may have been the first person he had spoken with since he had gotten to the hotel. He couldn't read people well but he was kind to all and saw kindness in others regardless of who they are though they can irk him in so many ways.

When Duchess arrived, it irked her tremendously that people were not grovelling at her feet. She decided to ignore that little nuance and pick up a menu from the waiters.

"I'll have the Foie Gras to start please, followed by the Homard Bleu and a bottle of Dom Pérignon," she said after skimming the menu for a while. She handed the menu back and proceeded to glare at Perfectly Wicked.

"What a simply stunning outfit" She seethed while biting her thumb. At least now she knew who her competition was....

"Your face is showing Duchess," Jess carefully warned her about the not-quite-so-pretty face she was involuntarily making. Duchess' cheeks turned bright red and covered her face with her fan. Her eyes darted around the table, surveying the other contestants clothing.

The tall man looked down the way to see Duchess come into the area, it was the first time he had seen her since he was at the hotel but had had to admit that she was lovely this evening in her gown. He quickly adjusted his sleeves some then nodded a bit to her then looked back at Ginger.

((Hahaha....I love how Duchess has to have just about the most expensive stuff in the world XD And...I'd love love love to be able to have what Espy orders down there irl....that'd be sweeeet. Except the bill for that would probably be over $150.))

Double-checking her menu again, Espy finally spoke up. "I would like to have the oyster appetizer, as well as Fugu sashimi and roe. And..." Espy flipped through the menus again, "...smoked salmon. Sauvignon Blanc would also be nice."

Closing her menu, Espy looked around, then stopped the waiter as he was about to take another order. "Wait...I think a sampler platter would go down well. Could you bring two?"

((pfft..Somehow that doesn't sound bad. I once went to dinner where I ate a main course that cost $300...alone.. which is like $50 US xDD for a rack of lamb and macaroni casserole. I also ordered wine, soup, salad...and desert 8D Happy b-day to me ~))

Duchess watched Espy ordered a ton of food and grimaced. "Ugh. Does she have no respect".

The waiter brought over her entrée and wine which she thanked him for before popping open the bottle and drinking straight from it.

"Madam!" Jess' eyes opened in alarm but Duchess simply shooed her into silence with a wave of her hand.

"It's nothing, nothing." She assured with her eyes narrowing into slits. She put the bottle down, 3/4 full now, and began to eat her foie gras with painful delicacy.

As the two sampler platters came over, Espy asked the waiter to place them near the center, where everyone would be able to try out the baked potato skins, breaded fish in tartar sauce, and wide array of sushi, as well as other appetizers.

She put the Fugu and oysters to one side and started on her smoked salmon, sensing Duchess's reaction towards the ton of food Espy had ordered. She took only a small bite before sipping the sauvignon, which had a more delicate flavor than any she had had before. She didn't care to match Duchess's caution, or, rather, lack thereof, but was careful enough to not make a fool of herself.
