Demonskid 04-30-2012 06:32 PM

Haunting 04-30-2012 06:34 PM

owo;; oh yea. Hmm, could you tell them your allergic to them or somthing? it wouldn't be rude, but then it could help you. -huggles-

whitexsuicide 04-30-2012 06:34 PM

awwhh you poor thing *huggles* i love honey and carrots~

hopefully they will realize that you can not keeping cutting back food stamps!

@haunting: where do you live? I am in New York, USA and they have food stamps up here

Haunting 04-30-2012 06:37 PM

I live in england owo;
My family also earns enough i suppose, but even with those who don't i havent heard of food stamps.

I do get disgusted with supermarkets, they waste so much food, and just bin it when it can be sent out to those who need it D:<

Dawn 04-30-2012 06:41 PM

I never had food stamps when I was in USA, I'm over in Scotland now and it's quite hard to live here.

And I agree, Supermarkets do waste quite a lot of good food. And usually you can freeze something that is just going out of date and it will last up to six months.

Its on the paper they had us fill out. since mom isn't allergic they give it to us

Haunting 04-30-2012 06:43 PM

Yup -nods-
Also some things can last longer. Apprently, when I still ate meat, mum had a frozen chicken for like 2 years or somthing and it everyone ate it and were very healthy afterwards. -nods-

Demon, dang...maybe ask for somthing a bit different, i dunno D; you need to eat -nods-

Demonskid 04-30-2012 06:44 PM

we need corn =/ make chicken corn soup

Asami 04-30-2012 06:46 PM

Asami is back from her run

whitexsuicide 04-30-2012 06:46 PM

hmm maybe you should have your mother say no? I know here they ask us if we want it or not. Like they will ask us if we want applsauce or whatever else it would be, I don't like applesauce so i would ask for the other thing~

@haunting: they don't have food stamps out there? that's weird.

Asami 04-30-2012 06:49 PM

//rolls around
I am so sweaty

Dawn 04-30-2012 06:49 PM

Nope, UK is different than the US. XD

I froze tons of items. -shrug- I honestly once ate a can of kidney beans 3 years after the sell by date and didn't pass out or anything. For most products, I don't even check the sell by date, as long as it smells alright, I'm gonna chomp down even if the sell by date is a year or more.
