It's strange , I usually disgust anything with Dutch in the name . But this tea actually tastes like tea and cake together in a cup but without the pieces xD Have you ever heard of the brand Pickwick ? |
No I haven;t but I'd try any and every tea I could. c:

Sorry . x3 If you're ever in the neighbourhood , you should try it . ;D |
╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (。◕‿◕。) I love tea. I only drink green and white teas. And there is only one black tea that I will tolerate. It's called blackberry current. I love that stuff. My favorite green/white teas are Snow Geisha, and Lavendar Dreams. Both are white teas if I'm right. I drink coffee every morning to wake up. I drink tea more when I'm on all my meds for some reason. I guess because otherwise I'm depressed and don't wanna bother with the work that tea involves. I drink some herbal and roobias teas as well but not many. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
I like the litte tea bags that you can get for leaf tea, especially since I usually make mine by the cup.
Yay! More tea addicts! I love Irish Breakfast. Twinnings has a basic multi-pack that has Lady Grey, Earl Grey, Irish Breakfast, and English Breakfast. On occasion I spot Prince of Wales but I'm most fond of Lady Grey and Irish Grey from that lot. I wish Lipton would bring their European teas over here. We can only get plain liption black or green as far as I've seen, or yellow lable. None of the fancier stuff that I saw in hotels and hostels while in Europe. I may have to order a big mixed box or something online and see if I can get some shipped. I like plain lemon black tea, especially when I'm feeling under the weather, but it's amazingly hard to find tea here that's just black tea with lemon and no anything else. Usually there's ginger or something else in it. NOT what I want! The box of lemon tea that I have now my sister brought back for me from Israel. |
I like black tea the most. It's pretty much the only tea that I can stand... But I do drink them plain, I think they taste even worse with milk in them.
I am definately more of a coffee person. But even that I don't really like. |
╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (。◕‿◕。) I make mine by the cup too, unless I make the loose leaf tea. Then I do 2 cups at once since I can make 2 cups with a scoop of leaves. The tea scoop is what I mean. I got it from Teavana. I just hope there is a tea shop near where I'm moving too tomorrow. If not, I'm gonna cry. Because that means I have to buy my tea online and then I can't get the ones I want, unless my husband doesn't mind ordering off of Teavana's website but that costs alot more than going to the store itself ; ; ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
I buy tea bags from Wal-Mart.
The fanciest tea I still have is Tazo...and I'd rather not have tea leaves in my tea. |
╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (。◕‿◕。) I use this cup like thing to make my loose leaf tea in. You put the tea in it and then add the water. Let it stand for however long it's supposed to and then you place it on top of a cup and it drains into your cup automatically. Their is a push thing on the bottom of it that releases the tea when it's placed on a cup. I got it from Teavana. It's a awesome lil thing. I have the one cup size and then one that can make about 2 cups out of it. My husband uses the bigger size when he makes sencha up. He makes a huge cup worth at once. He's a big tea drinker when he makes it. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
My cousin has a cup thing like that. I just have several tea pots with baskets in them that I use for leaf tea if I plan on having more than one cup. They are personal size teapots. I have something of a collection of them.
I like fancy tea but I buy most of my stuff from grovery stores too. Tazo is my favourite brand as far as those go. Tried Numi but I'm not all that fond of it. Black tea is my favourite too but I find I have to put sugar and milk in, often because I forget about it and it gets bitter as hell >.< but it's strong enough to disguise it. The exception is black tea with lemon, which I have plain and try my darndest not to leave steeping for half an hour. Kombucha I found recently and really like. Not too fond of the sencha that I've had, as far as greens go. I like genmaicha, which goes with the piles of sushi we eat here. |
╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (。◕‿◕。) Genmaicha is good. I love the rice that's in it. Gives it a nice flavor. I stand and make the tea so I don't over brew it. I can't stand bitter tea and since I don't add anything to my teas I have to make sure for sure that I don't do that. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
I hover over some of my green teas with a timer. Only way I can not screw them up.
The little bits of popped rice grains that sometimes appear in genmaicha make me giggle. Looks like eeny weeny popcorn. :) |
╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (。◕‿◕。) Hehe I actually found a popcorn piece in one of my teas. I forget which one it was too. >.> I think it was my strawberry parisio (or however you spell it). It's a lovely white tea. And tastes amazing. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
