i did it! i finished book #40! it was earlier today at lunch. :D

so it's not more than last year, but it IS more than in 2020 XD

Have submitted the final edit to my list which (minus any picture books I may have read while checking them in because I genuinely can't remember half the titles tbh), brings me to a solid 34 books, which is 22 books over my goal.

Probably could have snuck one more book in, but one of my eyes was a bit dry and irritated this morning so I went back to bed for a few extra hours after feeding the cats and killed some time basically just zoning out and doing nothing.
But I'm still very proud of that book count.

And with 3 books out from the library to read still, hopefully I can get a good start for 2023. Lol

i have a "to read" list on my library's website. once i finish one book is when i request the next one. when i pick this one up, I'm going to ask if i can request books from the next county over. my county doesn't seem to have an entire one of the series i read! O_o
