The ice rink where I went was indoors. Ice doesn't freeze thick enough to support your weight in Georgia. ...Maybe once every fifteen to thirty years....?

Potironette 12-10-2016 08:58 PM

Pictures <3! I want to see :D!

15 to 30 years is a lot! There's both indoor and outdoor ones where I live.

Kaderin Triste 12-10-2016 09:05 PM

Lee: Aww...that's too bad.

Potir: Sorry, no pics tonight. :c
I shared them to Facebook, but didn't upload them to my photobucket. And without wifi, I won't be able to upload until Monday. But I could share a picture of geese at Gibson Park?

Potironette 12-10-2016 09:07 PM

Aww, too bad. Yes! I want to see geese :D!

Tohopekaliga 12-10-2016 09:23 PM

Outdoor ice is, indeed, not possible here. XD

Might have frost on things for a couple hours on occasion, but that's it.

Potironette 12-10-2016 09:25 PM

I'm actually surprised Toho has frost at all XD.

Tohopekaliga 12-10-2016 09:29 PM

It's very rare...but it has happened.

Kaderin Triste 12-10-2016 09:33 PM

All the windows of my apartment have frost right now...

Also, sorry Potir...my phone is being an ass tonight. I have given up on photo sharing for now. XP

Potironette 12-10-2016 09:35 PM

Aww, too bad, but it's alright ^^.

Wow, it must be cold where Kaderin is :o?

There was a dripping icicle at the subway station today, and some puddles with salt sprinkled in...but it's still 10 degrees Fahrenheit too hot for ice.

Kaderin Triste 12-10-2016 09:38 PM

Yep. Very cold. It's 5 degrees out right now.

I live in the very northwestern part of Vermont, 20 minutes from the Canadian border and it is 18 degrees right now. :( the last two days has been very cold and very windy. Last night the windchill must have been 5 or 0! by next week we should be back up to the 30's. When I went to get the card from my game camera, the ground was frozen and the little bit of snow on it was crunchy. Did you all know that Eskimos have 40 words that describe snow. I read a book once called 40 Words for Sorrow, and it was pretty depressing! haha

Potironette 12-10-2016 09:53 PM

Oh wow, that's really cold!

40 words is a lot :o! Although, I can see why people with snow all the time would have so many words XD. I've never read 40 Words for Sorrow, but sorrow has a lot of words too D:

Kaderin Triste 12-10-2016 09:55 PM

Yeah, I've heard and read that eskimo thing a lot actually. But I could understand it.

Lee 12-11-2016 12:11 AM

Well, I mean, it's not just all different words for the exact same concept. more like the kind of difference between snowflakes and hail, that sort of thing. It's all precipitation, but... x'DD

Damies 12-11-2016 12:22 AM

-flailing- I had to clean our kitchen today and it's still a mess ; n;

Kaderin Triste 12-11-2016 12:28 AM

Awww....that isn't very nice of that kitchen!
