Women who nag at guys for playing video games is sooo annoying. Like, if they hate it so much why the hell did they get together? People should be allowed to have their own hobbies and lives. Dunno why some people can't get that. You don't need to do everything together ya know?

Sadrain 09-06-2010 12:48 PM

What's the criteria for being a little geeky? Knowing what's RPG, possibly playing them self, playing video games? What? XD -has never really gotten these "categories", since they seem to change from one person's view to another, so pounces on the chance to find out what this one is-

Gozed 09-06-2010 12:48 PM

Yeah, like I know some girls that expect their boyfriends to do everything they want to do, but hate all the stuff the boyfriend actually likes to do.

Yuki 09-06-2010 12:52 PM

Well, gaming everyday is usually what guys do. When girls get older most of them don't care about games any more and do other stuff while boys still play games and do other stuff. So I guess some girls consider it annoying that the guys wont be more "mature" to their liking. And if a girl still plays games after 20 she could be considered "special". >.<;

Well they do differ from person to person. One girl I had like was a complete Spider-man nerd, as in she can name every villain he's ever fought, all the girls he dated, and other things. I'm not exaggerating either...

Then another girl would sit and watch cartoons all day, which I still do.

Another I had liked (Syric's girlfriend by the way) has a degree in animation now, and goal in life is to draw cartoons.

So really just something I can actually be interested in and converse about.

Sadrain 09-06-2010 12:56 PM

That I don't understand either. I mean, it sure is nice if two have common interests, because then you can do something together, but relationships are also about respecting each other, therefor also the other person's interests.

About the video games... I haven't had a boyfriend, but I imagine that if I was with him and he spent lot of time playing the games I would just feel... Well, not left out, but more like I am bothering him and not really wanted there. It's not the thing in the video games, I think it could be pretty much anything, as long as lot of the together time was devoted to it instead.

Eh, I don't know why I'm single, I've never really had to reject girls, when I do I just kinda ignore them, which is mean, but it works.
I am attracted to the pretty girls, they have to at least be a little geeky and won't fuss at me for playing video games.

>3> I forgot if you were the one who had people add them to your FB is so.. I added you ;P *teases* am I an attractive girl, or am I ugly? (I think ugly personally)

Plus.. all the girls on here I'd think would be at least a bit geeky.

You KIDDING? Most girls I know, even 20 and over play games DD;
My totally girly friend will still randomly be all ZOMG POKEMON, though she pretends she isn't..
Most of my friends're in their early 20s or so and like 90% or more of the girls I know are total game addicts..
That is such a mean generalization you said, in fact more girls play video games than guys, if I remember it was like 60% girls or so..

Sadrain 09-06-2010 01:00 PM

By the way, did you fall, Gozed? D8 Your avvie is all band-aided. 38

I think there will be always games I might like to play, but they're kinda rare at the moment. I am more Fire Emblem type of girl, where there is lot of strategies, nice plot line and stuff and preferably not too gory, just 'cause I don't find anything appealing or interesting in that. I suppose good side scroller could also work. But I am on kiddy levels for those. =o=

Sadrain 09-06-2010 01:03 PM

I think I don't play because I find being here more interesting. [/lame] Games I do when I don't want to talk with anyone.

Hmm, well I guess relationships are like Communism, sounds great on paper but once its put in action you realize it has its problems. It differs for everyone.

Silverbleed 09-06-2010 01:03 PM

Maybe I should go sleep >_< I'm really dizzy and keep posting silly things and I make a TON of typo's...

Yuki 09-06-2010 01:05 PM

that's why some guys want a geek girl so they can game together

and only 4 girls out of like 15 played games in my class...why would I be kidding.

Sadrain 09-06-2010 01:11 PM

I guess, Gozed, if they are built without respect and any feelings for each other.

I suppose I am not geeky then, at least not that way, though, if my boyfriend would want to play video games, I wouldn't bugger him forever and ever. XD I mean, I would be upset if he did that about, say, playing avvie sites or reading in my spare time. =o=;

Silverbleed must rest. -wishes she could, too-

-dies at the thought of school tomorrow-

Silverbleed 09-06-2010 01:13 PM

4 out of 15? 1 out of 30 in my case >> I'm the only girl..

Gozed 09-06-2010 01:16 PM

Girls playing video games wouldn't be a requirement for me, mainly cause I'd probably get kinda cranky if she beat me. >_>

Yuki 09-06-2010 01:19 PM

That's petty lame...

Silverbleed 09-06-2010 01:19 PM

Lol. I know that. I got multiple guys getting mad at me cause I won. Makes no sense really. It shouldn't matter if you're a guy or a girl.

AceValkyrie 09-06-2010 01:20 PM

For some reason my ex always got mad at me and yelled at me when I won again him /= so I decided to let him win.. but he still complained /=

Gozed 09-06-2010 01:21 PM

I get cranky if I lose to friends, guys or girls, just in a relationship that could cause issues.

Sadrain 09-06-2010 01:25 PM

My brother got cranky at me when I won him in Yu-gi-oh cards and once even at the last moment got lucky in "Magic and the Gathering" and ebat him. He never played with me again. XD
So, I think it's a common trait. P=

Sei 09-06-2010 01:25 PM

*rolls*

Lucifer 09-06-2010 01:25 PM

Huh weird, I've read the statistics.. 60% of people who buy games're girls but then again I know plenty of guys who don't play games and even finding them in some areas is hard, so that part just depends on where you live.

Most people I know/try to hang out with play games.. or at least do drugs x_x;; but around here it's all..
Rap, drugs that suck(the hardcore stuff) partying, sex, hip hop, preppy/girliness.. etc.

AceValkyrie 09-06-2010 01:26 PM

*rolls next to sei* XP

Yuki 09-06-2010 01:28 PM

well I live in Sweden...

Lucid: 09-06-2010 01:35 PM

I'm not super huge into games, there's plenty that I'm really just not interested in. but there are also ones that I really love a lot. if I had a boyfriend that only wanted to play video games all the time, that would be a problem. but I wouldn't mind having a gamer boyfriend who balanced out his life. and I would enjoy playing games with him, as long as he wasn't a sore loser. or even a bad winner.

Lucifer 09-06-2010 01:41 PM

I would hate to be with someone who would only play games though.. it'd suck :C

Gozed 09-06-2010 01:44 PM

*Starts to fall asleep*
I'm actually surprised I'm up this late...

Lucid: 09-06-2010 01:45 PM

yeah, me too. that why I would require some balance. he would have to have other interests besides video games, and that includes spending time with me without other distractions.

AceValkyrie 09-06-2010 01:46 PM

*pokes everyone and gives everyone pie*
its my fake birthday! =D

Lucid: 09-06-2010 01:47 PM

Sadrain 09-06-2010 01:51 PM

Lucid: 09-06-2010 01:53 PM

AceValkyrie 09-06-2010 01:53 PM

Lucid: 09-06-2010 01:54 PM
