Ah, I keep forgetting there are... many kinds of trees out there.
Tell them to behave or they'll become christmas trees.
Those are the ones, right?

Biomecha 11-04-2018 10:48 PM

Different type of pine. A few stories high. Or several? There is a Christmas tree farm nearby.

mdom 11-04-2018 10:52 PM

WHAT
that's too high
a tree can never be higher than a house!! <- that's a saying here

Biomecha 11-04-2018 11:20 PM

It's another reason why we worry about the hurricanes since the trees fall.

Think I showed you this, but owl for scale in the top center tree. The neighbor's house is below. https://i.imgur.com/eHTFz6E.jpg

mdom 11-04-2018 11:52 PM

Not to be nearsighted, but is there an owl in that picture...

Biomecha 11-05-2018 12:00 AM

It's possible imgur compressed the image.

https://i.imgur.com/aOWUGhd.png

Not a cat.

Mekatra 11-05-2018 01:35 AM

*slides into the converstion super late* For the record, if you're diabetic, of even pre-diabetic, don't do the keto diet. One of my friends went into ketoacidosis and nearly died because he didn't do enough research before starting the diet.

D: Hurricanes are scary! One took the roof right off my aunt's neighbor's house and put it in the guy three houses's down yard!

mdom 11-05-2018 04:01 PM

whoa I'd totally miss that Waldowl.

Ahh I can't do keto then |D

Biomecha 11-05-2018 04:31 PM

That's strange, because it seems like a lot of people try keto because they are diabetic. Maybe type matters? Or coincidence? Because ketoacidosis can be from mismanaging insulin levels and ketosis is about glucose levels. I'm curious about the science behind it. Maybe they've learned more by now.

I only knew the owl was there from all the hootin' and seeing it flying around.

mdom 11-05-2018 08:31 PM

Maybe the cat learned how to howl.
The meowl is real!!! I want to believe.

Biomecha 11-06-2018 03:55 PM

Would a meowl come from an egg or live birth?

mdom 11-06-2018 04:02 PM

Maybe the mom... gives birth... to an egg? xD

Biomecha 11-06-2018 04:31 PM

Uhh, but wouldn't that be- Yes mdom, you're probably right. Does that mean they hatch immediately?

mdom 11-06-2018 04:34 PM

Yes! Inside the womb they grow as an egg
then they hatch like. getting rid of placenta

Biomecha 11-06-2018 08:22 PM

Milk or worms? It would be weird to see something bird-like having their babies suckle.

mdom 11-06-2018 09:03 PM

What about platypus? Or maybe in that stage they look more like cats

Biomecha 11-06-2018 09:24 PM

Hmm, good question. If meowls existed, I'd want to have those along with platypuses and pangolins for a weird animal farm.

mdom 11-06-2018 10:00 PM

Awww don't call pangolins weird xD

Biomecha 11-06-2018 10:58 PM

It's a mammal that looks like a mini dinosaur. It's a good kind of weird.

mdom 11-06-2018 11:27 PM

True.
I like its face. And scales.

Biomecha 11-06-2018 11:29 PM

They look like armored puppies. Tactical doggos?

mdom 11-06-2018 11:38 PM

Why do they need defenses? WHO IS ATTACKING THEM???

Biomecha 11-06-2018 11:43 PM

Maybe it's a new breed to protect humans. Emotional support tactical pets.

mdom 11-07-2018 12:52 AM

Yes
fight the depression for real
with punches

Biomecha 11-07-2018 01:31 AM

What animal would be capable?

Mekatra 11-07-2018 02:46 AM

For the record, humans are mostly attacking pangolins. They're one of the most illegally trafficked animals in the world. :(

mdom 11-07-2018 05:44 PM

WHO'S TRAFICCKING THEM!!! ASSHOELS!!!

kangurus seem capable of punches

Biomecha 11-07-2018 06:14 PM

You can have them carry your wallet and other belongings too.

mdom 11-07-2018 07:17 PM

Multi-use support pets!
Why can't dogs have pockets

Biomecha 11-07-2018 08:37 PM

That's probably one of the reasons why they started making them wear vests. But they're pretty good at fetching things for you anyway. If you don't mind a little slobber.

Mekatra 11-07-2018 11:31 PM

Apparently in traditional Chinese medicine they are a common cure for a lot of things ranging from colicy babies to "demon and ogre posessed women." They dry their scales and make medicines with them. :(

We used to have a lady with a service dog come in to the store I worked at all the time. She was wheelchair bound and had very limited mobility with her hands, so she would unzip her little purse thing and fish the money out, then the dog would hop up on the counter and "hand" it to you. He was such a well trained dog. He would carry the shopping bag to the transport van she used and put it in a little bin thing, then stand patiently while the driver strapped her in, then sit in the passenger seat.

mdom 11-08-2018 04:25 AM

Noo D: poor pangolins deserve to live more than people who traffic them

Hm, I mind slobber a lot. But i'm also scared of raccoons and their human-like hands

Death by Mirrors 11-08-2018 06:22 AM

I already love that dog.

Biomecha 11-08-2018 11:26 AM

The only thing I don't like about service dogs is not being able to pet them when they're on duty.

mdom: Way to work the new items. What is the leafy bit on your waist?

mdom 11-08-2018 01:36 PM

Rainbowitch!
It's from an anka egg, it's called Featherbrain

Biomecha 11-08-2018 04:37 PM

Thanks. I must need to take a closer look through that list again.

Intergalactic rainbowitch? I like your expression, too.

mdom 11-08-2018 04:51 PM

Too many items, too little time.

I didn't want to go the stereotypical big nose witch. or sexy witch.

Biomecha 11-08-2018 05:05 PM

What about a sand witch?

mdom 11-08-2018 05:14 PM

That would be you, the punny one

Biomecha 11-08-2018 09:05 PM

I should come up with a good or bad pun for a Halloween costume next time.
