Awh. :c
So I'm guessing it wasn't finals or something like I thought? XD

Hm. Arn't those close anyway? o.o

Espy 05-01-2014 11:47 PM

I had two finals today.

My mood/anxiety usually hits extremes in the 24 hours before and after major exams. Finals week is next week and the week after.

Vincent 05-01-2014 11:50 PM

Aw :c I sorry.
You'll do great, though. BI -nodnod-

I think everyone's pretty nervous during those weeks anyway. XD
I don't remember if I was but I take everything pretty lightheartedly anyway. XD (in a nice term of saying)

Espy 05-01-2014 11:56 PM

No, I didn't do great.

Also, it's not just "nervous". Like...I should probably get myself checked out for actual anxiety/depression issues, but my parents brush it off as no big deal.

Vincent 05-01-2014 11:59 PM

Psh. :c You should believe in yourself moore. x3

Oh t-t' Well now that you're on your own in college, maybe you should look someone up when you get the time?

Espy 05-02-2014 12:05 AM

That's rather difficult to do.

And yeah, I could do that, except transportation is a bit of an issue.

Vincent 05-02-2014 12:08 AM

Well I'd try helpin but you probably wouldn't want me to. XD

Hmm. Bus? Most public buses go by a good number of medical places...
idk. :c

Espy 05-02-2014 12:25 AM

I'm not sure who to trust. But I'll have some time soon; good for figuring things out.

Vincent 05-02-2014 12:38 AM

Ah. X: Well yeah there's that too. :c
Yeah it's good to have time to think at least, especially for a college student. XD

Espy's avatar is all fiery now. XD

Astronomy, not astrology... (but modern theories about the universe have just as much potential to have the same accuracy #Skeptical)

Vincent 05-03-2014 04:14 PM

Soo what's the difference between the two, again? o.o

Lawtan 05-03-2014 04:26 PM

Astrology - original studies of the celestial bodies and their motion with a lack of full understanding about relative sizes, laws, distances. etc., therefore their mystery being linked/explained by mythology. Also is largely associated with stars being able to be used to predict a person's personality/days. (Most likely reason for this working: post-Rome civilization patterns in relationship to the seasons has not changed, and thus the attitudes/patterns around people (the Nurture aspect of growing up) are somewhat similar, potentially producing similar people...or than languages are vague enough for it to work like an ink blot psychology test)

Astronomy - Scientific study of bodies outside of Earth (and those bodies that enter Earth's atmosphere from outside and survive) for the purpose of mapping the universe and its past. The biggest potential flaw I could see in this are several theories involving the "end of the universe"...due to the fact that we barely have even scraped the expanse of the universe.

Both to me: Astrology is symbolistic, and a record of human history/evolution. Astronomy is the study of what is out there, and potentially would be useful for working with the universe to preserve/progress life (much like understanding the Earth is useful for working with the Earth)

Vincent 05-03-2014 04:33 PM

Sooo Astrology is... folk-ish and Astrology is science-ish.
Is what I got from that. I hope I'm not far off. XD
