My favorite is when morning people try to tell you that you'll eventually adjust to the morning shift/getting up early if you do it long enough.
Nope. Not true. Have had an early shift for 7ish months now. Still hard to drag myself out of bed and function.

at least 4 days a week, sometimes 6, i'll start work at 9. been that way since .... uhm.... hang on.... 1998, maybe?

when i went back to work when my older daughter was old enough, i had to be in at like 8:30. when i went back to work when my younger daughter was old enough, i started at 9.

still haven't gotten used to it. and my hubby is one of those morning people who try to tell me i'll get used it! XD

Yeah....my current cleaning shift at the museum, I'm supposed to be in at 7:30. On a good day, I can make it by 8, but I generally get in right around 8:30. Thankfully that job is more flexible so as long as the basics get done daily, it doesn't really matter. I don't think our current director even knows what my shift is supposed to be tbh.

my Mon-Thurs job starts at 9. i get in about 9:15, go to starbucks, goof off, read.... and start looking like i'm working when my boss gets in about 10:05-10:15. XD

i still haven't gotten a job but i need to start looking for one when i turn eighteen. maybe it'll be nice to FINALLY HAVE SOME FUCKING ROUTINE.
