I kinda have a bit of a blackout regarding the last 5 to 7 days, so even stuff I may have been here for (someone got a new video/computer game, someone was writing a paper, and... well, a lot of water falling from my eyes, my Mom-in-law coming over to comfort me), and it's all muddled together. What game did you get? Is it computer or console? I'm still playing Galaga on my DS LOL |

@Kat: Thanks ^^ It's at this fast food place (Mighty Taco) that is based in Buffalo NY and they're opening a store here in Rochester (where I live) and it's close to me. I start training tomorrow. Granted it's fast food, but I'm happy it's a job :)

@DK: Yeah, I've heard those are horrible. Not only are they confusing, but obnoxiously long (as in, there are questions on the form that have absolutely NOTHING to do with the job description nor the qualifications for said job)... We were dealing with 3 of the 4 of us (the husband-creature and both his parents) being out of work for the majority of 2011 with no money coming in... not even unemployment insurance *shot* Eric finally got a job at Dunkin' Donuts the last week of September. His Mom starts a new job this Friday. She & Dad have been out of work for over a year (they both resigned from our township's fire department at the same time. He was the Fire Chief, she was the Fire Safety Marshall - 2 of only 3 paid positions on an otherwise volunteer fire department). Dad's to busted up with injuries and "Failed Surgery Syndrome" from major neck surgery in 2010, so he's fighting to get SSDI. I'm the only one who had a steady income last year, and I haven't worked since Jan 2002 :/ (I have 2 insurances and SSDI, so though money was tight, our bills were for the most part covered). The economy just sucks ass everywhere right now, so any job you can get is a GOOD job! (Eric stepped down from his job as office manager of an accounting firm- because the accountants were pulling some borderline illegal crap that he didn't want to be part of. Because he quit and the company suing that firm went out of business (therefore giving him no one to testify on his behalf that he was not involved in the illegal activity, but rather was giving evidence to the prosecution)... so he didn't qualify for Unemployment. He FINALLY swallowed his pride and took the donut job. He should be thankful he got THAT. There are just no jobs in Arizona- especially not in rural areas like ours. He has a 30-40 minute commute to "the city" (6500 residents LOL), because we have no commerce in our village that isn't family owned and operated. Keep pluggin' away at the online applications. Something will cow through if you are diligent ^_^ |

No smells that will make my asthma act up, and I'm sure they wont mind if I carry books a few at a time when restocking the shelves.. I'm gonna grow my hair out again so my looks will no longer be a problem.. for employers.. I swear people are WAY to judgmental =/ |

Yes, odd mix, I know. *sticks out tongue* Most of my life my closest friends were guys. From age 15 to...? they were mostly gay guys, but not all. I had my gamer friends, too. But, Oi! did I love to dress up. And I don't just mean Halloween (which was always my MOSTEST FAVORITEST holiday), I'm talkin' full on black tie affairs. I blew the whole $100 my grandma sent me for school clothes when I was 15 on a GORGEOUS Gunnysacks {sp?} formal gown my Jr. year in high school. I LOVED that dress and kept it long after I grew out of it. I wish I had kept it. I would love to have that material (blue-black) and all that gorgeous black lace!! I want to start making doll clothes again now that I'm into Monster High dolls, but I gave away all my fabrics to my favorite niece because she's really into DIY projects. I gave her all my girls size 14 clothing (I lost a bit of weight when I first got sick... then I found it all again, and it brought friends >:[ ), so she has plenty of clothes to practices on. Thanks, same here. Though I'm sure things will. He knows I've been antsy and he didn't sign off like he was mad at me, he probably was just tired last night. If he was mad he would have just said good night instead of nighty night.
