Heehee. Little guys probably miss their mom. I don't know if she was able to be rescued or if she was...well, alive, to be rescued. =( They were eating my fingers and my rings because they were like nipples and they were trying to suckle milk from me. And then they wanted to play, 'cause they're part labrador and that breed NEVER grows up. XD

I really don't know. =( They are a litter of 7, but the other three couldn't fit in that kennel with those four, so they were in the one right next to them. Those 3 were the quiet ones, heehee. Sally, Harry, Diesel, Ari, Sherlock, Orlando, and Ella. There was a poor little Yorkie there. Tiniest little thing you ever saw. her entire lower jaw had rotten off. =( But you know what my favourite part is? The dogs like this little chihuahua I saw there. I walked by and she nearly toppled over backwards when she saw me, she was so excited to see me. How could I say no? She was SO FREAKING HAPPY to be petted, even just a little bit. Those dogs come from situations where the only human contact was pain. I love seeing them realize that we can bring happiness, and then see them CRAVE that happiness and love. It's a drug for them. And those puppies won't ever remember that horrible place, wherever they came from. So there really is a happy part in it all. <3 [walloftext] |
Awww...just reading what you said makes me get all teary. Picturing them in my head. I don't know how you do it. I mean, I could go and pet them all day long too but man i'd just feel so sad leaving them. Psst...you can yank first post on the book thread if you want. I opened it while I try to get it all together. ❤ |
It's hard. I wish I could take them all home! But NMDR will make sure they get good homes, and people will love them. They're past the hard part of life. The doggies that lose all their teeth get to be spoiled with wet food for the rest of their lives, heehee. Those dogs will be spoiled! BRB dinner |
