I still need to find our lacky
What Lacky? What you talking about?
at wasabi, the girl in the kimono
What about her? She comes to my house all the time, she dating Kyle.
oh, well she said she was going to help me make the bands of my Mey-rin apron look more formal and well put together
I'll ummm reminde her next time I see her.
ok, cause the straps on my mey-rin looks like a fail
I'll tell her the next time she is over.
yeeeeeeah, except I told her to measure her head WITH the hair up and WITH the wig on. Three times. Because the first time I didn't believe her, the second time I really didn't believe her, and the third time cause I was hoping she'd figure it out.... My head, with my hair down, is as big around as the measurement she gave me, and she's seven inches taller than me.
I think she has selected hearing
apparently, though it apparently was in effect for ALL her measurements. As though I'd JUDGE her by her size...I'm not exactly a size four here!
Neither am I; I'm a size 16-18 so I'm a plus size curvy girl cosplaying as feminine men
it's the only reason I can think she wouldn't give me accurate numbers.
I can give you my numbers I'm not really afraid to tell you my numbers, everyone is built differently. She shouldn't really be afraid of numbers
yep, hence why I'm just even more miffed
I thought she was the skinny high school kid wanting to cosplay for the first time
O.o no, the other chick is just a high school friend of the roommates(they went to HS together yeeeeeeears ago), and she's not skinny.
I can tell when you told me about her being afraid of numbers. I'm a 42"bust 36" waist and a 48" hips
I usually worry more about fit and less about numbers, I know how to dart it to fit, and I know how to let out seams if need be.
So do I, I'd rather have things bigger on me than smaller
I'd rather have them fit, bigger or smaller, if the fit is wrong you'll look bad.
well if it's bigger you can always take it in, if it's too small then you have to mess around with the pattern to add the fabric to the outfit
but if you do it right the first time it'll fit great from the get go!
yea, and hence I have a hard time sewing clothes, But I do sew small accessories like hats
Echo I talked with the Lackey and she said she wont be able to do them.
well I remember she told me how to do them right
If you can that is good.
I'n which I don't. I'll find a pattern for an apron and just do the straps
straps are easy, measure how wide you want them, multiply times two to the width and add a half inch to each side. sew along the long length, turn inside out, press flat, sew onto other area. You're done.
Fey you looks nice who are you now? XD
different person, same series...I'm waiting for someone to figure it out! This time I'm a princess, not a double agent, with a 'shining' personality :D
Its rinning a slight bell.
would be better if I had one of the crows...haven't gotten either of those sets yet....
We have crows?
damit, crowNs...there I fixed it.
and if we had crows I'd do miko-mars in a heartbeat! |
lolz we have the small crowns.
nope, I really need a headband/forehead crown, but we don't have those, so a couple of the event items would work...if I had the monies for 'em, and people were selling
Quote:
nope, they're still really a rectangle just the anchoring point is offset by a few degrees(between 25 and 45), the ruffle you can add either before or after you make the rectangles.
ok, last time I made straps those loose fabrics were fraying and so was the thread cause it kept screwing up the machine
