Suspense and mystery are good.
Not sure on the verge on horror part. I guess
that depends on how much horrorish it is.

It's because my pattern is so screwed up. I sleep better late at night and during the day.

Fauxreal 04-15-2012 02:11 AM

There is a little bit of blood - but it's well placed. It's not gratuitous. Everything is for a purpose, not willy - nilly like other movies. It's actually considered a classic.

Hi Red.dee~baby!

Aww poor Red. I'm sorry to hear that.
I really hope you can sleep better soon.
*hugs*

Oh then that is perfectly fine with me Faux.

It's got Bill Pullman in it - who really is quite a tame actor.

Red Calypso 04-15-2012 02:21 AM

I saw a fairly decent movie Friday. It was called Ghoul, but it ended up being a psychological thriller, not a horror movie. It touched on several intense topics in a realistic manner, which got kudos from me for that.

The last two movies I saw were Jack and Jill
and then Tower Heist. Both were really good.
Especially loved Jack and Jill. I so love
Adam Sandler.

Bill Pullman is a great actor. I love him.

Woohoo! Another Nocturnal Persona for Teh Kiddiss to hang with whilst the "normies" sleep >.<

Actually, in the last 2 weeks, my sleep schedule has been smashed with a sledgehammer.
Two hours before church today, I was finally starting to fall asleep (8:30am), so I called Dad and told him I wasn't gonna make it, sorry. I slept until around 7pm when a friend texted me. I texted Dad to see if I could come over for a quick lesson on the Feast of Unleavened Bread, but he was already asleep for the night.

After an hour texting, I had to wake Eric early (9pm) because he made sweet pineapple ham for dinner (don't know why- I still have a full pack of Thai beef skewers, a box of white rice, and my own container of Singapore noodles - it reminds me of panzit {spelling?} that my childhood friends' moms would make with lumpia {sp?}). My Pinoy pals always had the most awesome food *drools* 1 I learn (and, of course with time, forgot) how to make a few dishes that I LOVED!! When I found out a Thai place near to where we lived in Phx had the rice noodles, I was hooked!! I haven't found lumpia anywhere in AZ, but without Navy, you don't get half American/ half Pinoy families. Az is land-locked, so it's not a place the Navy likes. Filipino moms were always so cool to the young teens in the Navy families. Super nice, and AWESOME cooks!!
Wow, I don't even know how I got off on such a tangent *quizzical look*

ANYHOW- We have a fridge full of pre-cooked food, and Eric decides he wants honey and pineapple ham. *hmph* It was REALLY yummy.... but I want my gorram noodles!!

He left, and I have been backlogging this whole thread.
I just finished the first 15 pages. I got to see Faux-Faux in her smexy corset *makes grabby hands and shouts DO WANT!!* Buttttt.... $300 is WAY out of my price range :/
I want to find the shop that sold me my 3 other corsets for about $50 to $75 each. A TOTAL steal for a full frontal busk and steel "whale boning " control.

Faux, if your corset is comfortable and can be worn for hours on end, I would take the time to look into it ^_^ I can set $35/mo away for 10 months (a little extra for shipping, etc.).

If you have any sort of back pain, corsets are AWESOME!!
Im so sad I never got any pics of me in my corsets D: I has a sad nao.
Like a few other people in the thread, I shy away from cameras. There's just something about me that makes me hard to photograph. There was a very short time in my life- high school & university, when I didn't mind having my pic taken
Now I hide whenever a camera comes out *twitch*

Red Calypso 04-15-2012 04:35 AM

Kat, I'm with you. When I was young I had no problem with my picture being taken. In all modesty, I was built! Now though I look like a bowl of pudding. Pictures are out.

The Krazy Kat Lady 04-15-2012 06:52 AM

Yeah, my best* time for being photogenic was ages 29 through 31. That's when I was at my physical peak, and could afford to go to a decent hairdresser and buy quality makeup. And my measurements were well within the acceptable parameters for sling dipping (which I did shamelessly severe nights a week during the Summer. I wish I had photos from that time- but I was the one taking pics, not being in them.

There are two very distinct times when I really wish Eric would have taken at least ONE photo of me: Halloween 2003- I was dressed in my black corset, my black "witch" skirt (as I called it), opera length black velvet gloves, black fishnet stockings (I *LOVE* all things fishnet ^_^), my black stompers (boots), black cat ears & tail, a real leather collar with 3 O-rings, and big, black feather wings. It was an awesome outfit. Too bad the only people with a pic of me dressed like that were Japanese tourists who stopped us om this street and asked to take a photo. I didn't get an email address, so I never got a copy.
The only other time was at a party Jhonen Vasquez held in Phoenix when Invader Zim was canceled. I wanted a pic of Jhonen. & me, but Eric refused to take even ONE! I snapped several of him with Jhonen, but he refused to reciprocate. Jerk >_> I think he enjoys keeping my self esteem in the toilet.
The only time he says I'm pretty is when he wants sex. He never says "you look nice today/tonight, even when I try to put myself together... like on our anniversary. Ya know, the day after I found out that Sassy has an inoperable malignant tumor that is killing her. *grr* I'd best stop talking about Eric. It's depressing and pisses some people off to the point of violwrnt thoughts.

Back to photos - I wish I had been more vigilant about them when my kittehs were younger. I have some pics of Sass with her brothers when they were younger, but all but ONE baby pic was destroyed when some idiot opened my camera whilst the film was still in.

Whooo... I'm woozy and light headed. I think I'm gonna try to get some sleepy time.

Hopefully I'll be back to "Kat Normal" soon andy will be able to have discussions rather than my usual wall o' texts *gerk!*

I hopes sleep finds you soon, Red ^_^ (((HUGS)))

Red Calypso 04-15-2012 12:53 PM

Wow...I have to say I'm not liking Eric very much. And wow again, you met Jhonen Vasquez? I loved Invader Zim. The creepy little girl was my favorite character.

Fauxreal 04-15-2012 02:32 PM

Red - tell me about it - I wish I could kick Eric in the nuts. One of my favorite artists drew for Invader Zim. Aaron A.
