those ideas are not new ones, other sites have recolored versions of the same items already out, i already brought this up with fen who says it is coincidental but i still won't buy the items which means four dollars not in tris' coffers this month

I actually have lots of ideas to fish out...but I feel so embarassed to show them D:

very close, the tail is the same stile and pose, the trident is the same shape (and pose but there is not much to be done with that) and i looked at that wow box-art for /months/ they are not identical but they are close and batty claimed the elsf and posted concept art that looked painfully close but in a different color, the trident can be a coincidence though i had not seen the gaia one since leaving and still remembered having seen it(turns out it is part of the wishlist hair i want) nearly two years later, the tail is a /lot/ harder to dismiss since they are near copies only the tris ver is slightly shredded and does not have the joint bangle, the wow outfit is a case of copycat and can't be claimed as theft since it is sort of different but if it was gaia you'd know it was a ripoff in the same way fruity dino flakes are a ripoff of fruity pebbles >>;

hahahahaha~ it is my special talent to spot copycats ^^; and it is my job on deviant to spot thefts, i see so many copies knockoffs rips thefts and off-brands that i cannot see anything else, it gets me in trouble sometimes really

I'm gonna mention a few things that's not specifically in defense of the designs, but more of just my observations:

-Tris already has koi tails in a generic U pose. The Nereid was released before there were baseless avi's, and that pose covered the feet. (TBH, I draw mermaid/fish tails like that usually as well. And I usually hate mermaid-like characters and stuff, so you'd know I wouldn't be copying with that.)

-The elf...okay, I know where you're going with that; Coda pointed it out. I should probably mention I've also drawn something extremely similar to many of the items in that DI, for one character.

-Back to the mermaid tail. Crysandrea has a tail that's remarkably similar, but like I said, it's...not that hard to think of something like that >.>

she's go leukemia and the symptoms didn't show...so she found out late, and had late treatment... so yeah. I'm experiencing down mood levels and to hear this bad news, oh dear...
