I had a similar problem before, so I started playing around with different hairs and the samson worked nicely.

-looks to make sure Hermes isn't around, then licks Batty then sits on Linths head-

It's actually not a Digivolution (correct term) it's actually a Digi-Egg Armor Activation (second season thing) and it's to turn Veemon into Raidramon... the Egg is the Digi-Egg of friendship
