I want to be able to have atleast some kind of language connection to my ancestors and my Irish heritage. I already know some German, cant speak it, but I understand bits and pieces of the written word.

@Cron: have you checked the library? I know that mine used to have audio language CD's ranging from the normal romance languages to Swahili and Gaelic. ... I'm suppose to be learning German so that when I go visit Coro we can go dance around Germany doing strange things and i will have the ability to at least order food xD.

Not really, right now I'm just browsing. I havent been to the local library for anything other than tax forms in years xD. I'll have to give it a try.

I know some Arabic words from my Arabic and Muslim history classes, but really the only language I've tried to learn recently is the Russian language. Problem is so many different words for the same damn thing @~@. And people say English has too many words for one thing.

Korn is Metal but not Heavy Metal.
Disturbed are classified as HEavy Metal, but they are more Thrash Metal than Heavy Metal.
Korn is "Nu Metal" which incorporates Grunge and Punk elements into Heavy Metal.

Slipknot is Speed Metal, Canibal Corpse is Death Metal, Godsmack are more Thrash in their sound, SOD is more of a beast of their own, Rob Zombie is his own Genre, so on and so forth.

I'm a big MEtal fan and know its various genre's and their differences, but I still love hte good old fascioned Heavy Metal.
The two forms of Metal I never really got into tho are Death Metal and Norwegian Satanic Black Metal, altho some NSBM bands are pretty good.
