Flaria 08-12-2010 01:58 AM

Cat Paws 08-12-2010 01:59 AM

wasnt there something wrong with the toyotas this year that demanded a recall?

Gwynllid 08-12-2010 02:03 AM

*breakdances into the thread* Yes, there was an acceleration problem between the computer and the pedal itself. *breakdances back out of the thread*

Cat Paws 08-12-2010 02:08 AM

*watches Vai* =o hi! Bye!

Yea I remember a commercial for people to call the lawyers and sue =/

Bina Fydan 08-12-2010 02:23 AM

Toyota are good cars, now they already cleared that problem now they are serving for the better. Lol. She wants a different car other than a Ford. Something new for her.

Gwynllid 08-12-2010 02:27 AM

I say go with Honda. I've had honda vehicles (Honda, Accura) since I started driving, and mine are freaking GREAT. They were also bought used, and each has over 100,000 miles on it. Which may be a lot, but.. A car that keeps going after that, as if it's only been on the market for a YEAR at the most... Man, that's a thing of beauty.

Add to that the fact that the engines are anything BUT gas guzzlers, and you've got something really sweet. Get a 4-cylinder with a vtec, and you might as well have a 6-cylinder for how the vehicle performs, but it consumes gas like the 4-cylinder it is.

Gwynllid 08-12-2010 02:28 AM

Oh, and the car I own RIGHT NOW is this:

In that exact color. It's a '97, and it always shines up just that nice. Oh, and did I mention that its Kelly BlueBook price is $3000 USD?

*lost*

Who likes sudoku! My cat zeke apparently doesn't >< *fixes scratch holes in my sudoku book*

Bina Fydan 08-12-2010 02:32 AM

I know all about that. I'm not a Honda car fan plus it's one of the most top stolen cars in Bakersfield anyways, so I wouldn't risk that. I know these things because my father told me them and that I research. Thanks for giving your thoughts. :3 My mother doesn't want a Honda, nor does my dad. He's a Ford guy. Yes, a car can go well up to 200k, if properly serviced. My dad worked on engines for people.

Gwynllid 08-12-2010 02:40 AM

My dad's been in car sales since I was in diapers, and I've grown up in the industry. In time, I eventually started working at dealerships with my dad. ^^ Now, I just go wherever the money is.. because it sure isn't in car sales.. ;-;

Bina Fydan 08-12-2010 02:42 AM

Yeah, I feel you, Vai. My dad knows a lot people so he will be good for bargaining for cars.

Gwynllid 08-12-2010 02:57 AM

Actually, and he's openly stated this.. The easiest person for a salesman to sell to is a salesman. So.. Yeah. Mine is good at finding a nice car, but not always a nice price. ^^;;

Demonskid 08-12-2010 03:03 AM

Flaria 08-12-2010 03:07 AM

Demonskid 08-12-2010 03:09 AM
