I don't really mind because as much as I hate it, it makes it easy for all of the little ones, who are freaking out enough over this stupid divorce...

That's because children don't let the "norms and expectations of society" influence everything they do like adults. Then again, the biggest decision some children have to make is if they want a burger or chicken nuggets in their happy meal.

somewhat. I don't see my step-dad anymore, and he was the one who was the worst at it, but that was probably because all of his friends where my mom's friends too, and they sided with her.

He was semi-happy in the relationship... and he's still in love with my mom, so he really doesn't like that their getting divorced, he wants to try and work things out.
