I've never played a final fantasy game...

Taiki 05-09-2011 06:16 PM

Seriously? O: wooooow. I've watched my brothers play through them more than I've actually beat them. xD; I've only beat 9, X-2, and 13 on my own.

Seloria 05-09-2011 06:18 PM

How was X-2 in your opinion? There are so many mixed feelings with the people that I know that have played it. I have it on my shelf but haven't played it yet. I want to give it an honest chance myself, but am interested to hear others views on it.

Taiki 05-09-2011 06:24 PM

I actually really liked it. xD It was a long time ago that I beat it so I don't remember much about it, but I do know that I enjoyed it even though I never played X.

*pokes head in* Hello people Finaly fantasy talk i see.

I personally have never played X-2 but most of my friends (avid rpg gamers) didnt really like it. I didnt even really like X just or the battle system. I loved the ATB from FF9 and back

Taiki 05-09-2011 06:38 PM

Well... I'm crazy and probably liked it cuz all the main characters were girls. >o>

I'm not all that picky about games but the one Final Fantasy that I HATED was 12! D; It was so boring, I never got further than 4 hours at a time into it. I played it for 4 hours, got bored, then like a year later played it for another 4 hours, and never played it since. xD;

I like FFX, though I never got around to finishing it, and I promised myself that I would finish that one before playing X-2. All of my friends are FF fans and RPG gamers, some of them liked X-2 and some didn't. I guess it's just one of those games that is always going to be in debate. I don't like Yuna in X because she's so helpless and annoying but apparently after the events of X she grabs herself a couple revolvers and kicks all butt with them, so I'm willing to give it a shot lol.

i still havent played the ps2 ff games, mainly cos theyre still around the same price second hand here as when they first came out ><

Seloria 05-09-2011 11:04 PM

I get used PS2 games at the flea market, they tend to be a little cheaper there and you can usually haggle a little with a seller. They can drop the price if there's some damage to the case or anything, so I try to work out a deal with them and get some pretty cheap games.

we use pal format here and you guys use ntsc otherwise id just buy them cheap off the u.s. ebay ><

Demonskid 05-09-2011 11:12 PM

._. I didn't get a chance to decide if I liked her or not.. my friend kept telling me what happens hours into the game just as I started it >.<

Ashy 05-09-2011 11:13 PM

I'm only really familiar with FFIX. Several of my friends played through it. I was the mini-game queen. I managed to get enough points in the Chocobo search games to get the Robe of Lords, among other things, and won the card game tournament for my friends. Stupid evil bug boy was somewhat irritating. Freya was a fun character, and introduced me to lancers. :).

I play FF Tactics A2 on my DX a lot. I've finished the game but am still playing it. At least three people in my party are lancers (not sure if they still use that job name).

Ashy 05-09-2011 11:20 PM

i knew youd like her too dk :P
