If I said I wasn't going I'd probably be taken, while asleep, to the gathering and wake up there. Which might end up badly for the first person I see cause I'd interrogate them as to where I am and I'd be angryish at my family for taking me to the event I said I wouldn't attend.

We have rain ponchos and blankets in the back, I often also have an extra pair of clothes in both cars. We also have matches for such occasions.

Yes, my family is. Though most of the supplies are for spontanious camping trips. We could live for at least a week on suplies that is in the car and provided with natural resources to use, even longer then that.

My two families are 800 miles apart so we tend not to get together much. There's new years stuff happening upstairs but I'm not terribly keen on joining in. We all make courtesy appearances and then just dick about and do what we do. The games people go play games, the food people go eat food, the tech people go talk tech, etc. Generally speaking, as long as you are somewhere on the premises, you're good. I'll got up and socialize now and then, and be there for the champagne.

Suddenly noticing that there's no one around me. -- wait, I heard someone in the bathroom. I'm not hear by myself, and thus, not the only one ignoring the festivities, which are pretty tame sounding at the moment. My brother's dog was doing some serious tap dancing on the floor earlier. Wondering what he was excited about.

We call it the skippity-skap, as he tends to spin in circles and twitch his feet so much he sounds like he's tapdancing. He's a pom-chi, (pomerainian/chihuaua). Cute little guy. And I must away! it seems dinner is ready. :).

Rose is doing well enough I suppose. bored .. i can't play Zelda because Kano's computer is on the tv.. im sitting out here in the living room on the laptop because i try to spend time with him when he's home. But im about to just go into my room and play a game on my pc that can handle games.
