...Espy, you are a badass.

KittyBeary 01-26-2018 02:34 AM

If I had to get a tooth pulled I would definitely opt for sedation. x_x I had my wisdom teeth removed a while back but I had to be sedated for that since they didn't grow above the gums. :'D

Den 01-26-2018 02:57 AM

I had my wisdom teeth out between my senior year and first year of college. one of 'em was impacted.

I was a kid :| My parents panicked but I stubbornly refused to get a numbing shot, and my dad actually *drove home from work* to make sure I was okay. There was some Advil involved, but I was (and still am) really tiny, so I couldn't take a full dose of painkillers.

tsukiko 01-26-2018 07:23 AM

@___@ crazy...

i had a bad experience with a dentist as a kid, so i rarely went to the dentist. 5-6 years ago, my mom had $3k saved up for medical that she had to use, so we got a lot of my bad teeth pulled and a couple of root canals done. last year, with the miracle of medicaid, i got the rest of my bad teeth pulled and dentures made. thankfully this last year's dentist was super super nice and thorough. he remarked how well i "behaved". i was counting how many he was extracting, and before i knew it, he was all "all done" and i was like "wait...i only counted 5...you did all 8?!?!?" xD sure some of it hurt, but i kept telling myself it'd be over before i knew it. then after all that, i went to work. people at my job thought i was insane, but i just told them that i wouldn't be able to talk for a few days and if i needed to sit down, i would have to, but i'd try to get my job done as normal. i really did love that job :(

Serra Britt 01-26-2018 01:16 PM

I have a feeling I will lose some teeth the next time I go to the dentist. But I really don't know. I just need to go. >_>

Cats.

I have no idea what I was thinking. I usually don't wake up fighting, but I found when my mind started working, that somehow I was clutching my little doll that I'd left with my mom before the surgery, too. I know I'm an aware sleeper. I'm starting to suspect that even fully sedated, they were having trouble keeping me on the table. All of my wisdom teeth impacted. One was growing out the side of my jaw, and they had to remove another tooth to get at it, and then sew the other tooth back in.

My mom used to get all her tooth work done unfrozen, because she had a bad reaction to the numbing agent.

mdom 01-26-2018 08:15 PM

ok I'm scared of Espy now

also I still don't have my wisdom teeth I think it reflects my maturity level

Den 01-26-2018 08:36 PM

mom and I got into it a bit earlier. 'cause I get confused about dates and stuff, and she said "It's because you don't work, every day is the same". I flat out told her "No, it's not. each day is NOT the same to me. Do NOT assume that about me." even if I was working, and each day was different, I would still get confused.

tsukiko 01-27-2018 06:04 AM

i think we all get confused about dates and stuff once in awhile...

*leaves hugs for all*

Den 01-27-2018 06:43 PM

The thing is, she's getting this attitude of "I know more about this than you do, even though you're the one actually experiencing this". Yeah, she may have mild depression, but she sure as fuck isn't Autistic, she sure as fuck isn't dealing with moderate depression, she sure as fuck isn't dealing with general anxiety disorder, and she sure as fuck isn't dealing with PTSD. I am. I can't always articulate what is going on with me verbally, which just adds to the complicating factors...

mdom 01-27-2018 07:24 PM

Aww... it's a mom thing, I think :< they like to believe they know it all and their 'kids' (even though we're adults) know nothing.

Serra Britt 01-27-2018 08:16 PM

Parents just want to help, but sometimes they need to listen to their kids as equals.

Den 01-27-2018 08:34 PM

it'll be a cold day in hell before that happens in my house.

tsukiko 01-27-2018 09:45 PM

*offers hugs to den*

Serra Britt 01-27-2018 11:14 PM

I suppose she expects you to respect her too Den? -_-

I'm so sorry you have to put up with that :/

Den 01-27-2018 11:17 PM

More than likely. I have a feeling Mom and I will have to have another mediated discussion with my therapist. I'd LOVE to get Dad in to one, too, but I know that won't happen

Tam I am 01-27-2018 11:52 PM

*big hugs for Den*

Today has left me feeling disconnected. Wow. Ugh.

Den 01-28-2018 12:01 AM

tonight kinda was alright, 'cause she and Dad weren't home, but at the same time, i had to take care of the animals. thankfully, the dog didn't run off like he likes to do some days.

Serra Britt 01-28-2018 01:32 AM

-offers Den hugs-

Makes me upset when parents don't respect or try to understand their kids, and then are shocked when they don't get respect back.

KittyBeary 01-28-2018 01:35 AM

*hugs Den* Parents can be tough sometimes. x_x

Tam I am 01-28-2018 03:27 PM

Which is why I might not recognize either of mine on the street, even though I lived with 'em for twenty years.

Den 01-28-2018 08:07 PM

my goal is to eventually be living where they can't visit me without it being a huge pain in the ass for them. 'cause I will insist they stay at a hotel. Mostly because Dad smokes, and I don't want my future home to have a slight stink of cigarette smoke.

Glitch 01-28-2018 08:10 PM

hope everybody is doing well <3

Serra Britt 01-28-2018 08:28 PM

Glitch is all foxy today! <3

With a very cute fox girl pixel animation...

tsukiko 01-28-2018 10:06 PM

i like it, glitch! :D

Serra Britt 01-28-2018 11:34 PM

-pounces on Sephy-

When are you going to change your avy XD

mdom 01-29-2018 11:08 AM

Hey she added tails recently xD

Serra Britt 01-29-2018 05:28 PM

Yes but she's been wearing the same thing for as long as I can remember XD

Tam I am 01-29-2018 08:00 PM

Den, should I teasingly suggest a tiny house again? Lack of space makes good excuses!

Hiya, Glitch!

Den 01-29-2018 08:49 PM

lol I'm considering it, honestly. Remember that 6'X6' table I told you about that could be split into two halves and folded away? that was meant to go inside a tiny house.

Serra Britt 01-29-2018 09:31 PM

"Nope, can't have you (parents) as guests, no room for you to sleep."

And then when they don't believe you and don't book a hotel in advance, they can get there and see you were not lying XD

Den 01-29-2018 09:34 PM

I'm keeping an eye out for places to live in the area I wanna live in for now.

mdom 01-29-2018 10:14 PM

Tiny houses are also a good excuse to always take a walk and see the nature ^^
because where else would you walk xD

Den 01-29-2018 10:28 PM

problem with Tiny Houses is that in a lot of places, they're not legal.

tsukiko 01-29-2018 11:09 PM

@serra
i did add tails, but i'm waiting to finish my current quest before changing

Glitch 01-30-2018 12:42 AM

the girl in my signature is from Read Only Memories: 2064

ouo

KittyBeary 01-30-2018 12:56 AM

I've always wanted a tiny house. ;u; Somewhere kinda isolated from everyone. XD Maybe a small cabin. *~*

Den 01-30-2018 01:26 AM

There're a lot of free plans online for 'em.

mdom 01-30-2018 07:04 AM

How far are you from completing your quest, tsukiko?
