Cho: The hand interrupted his tracing of the fine lines running over soft mocha flesh and firm muscles. "Good, I will not have to wake you. I am spending the rest of the evening here instead of Eva's. I want you to get rest"
He rose quickly at the words, pressing his head against Ambrosia's forehead. His mind brought up a picture of the woman sitting in Cirros kitchen. He swallowed, as much as he craved the attention he understood the importance of sharing it with the others. “Are you sure?” He asked pressing down on the hand still playing with his scar. “I will not be here all night, I leave for work at 7.” Galvin moved away from Ambrosia's forehead gracing a small kiss against his neck. “I was only planning on sleeping today.”
he snorted and catching the man's hands tugged him back down. "you are not going to work tonight and i doubt you will manage to sleep that much" pushing his face into pyce's hair he sighed. "how would you like to own a strip-club?"
It started out with the sounds and motions of Ambrosia's usual proposition for sex, but the words completely caught Galvin off guard. He twisted his head trying to get a look at the other, wondering if it was in jest. "... what?"
he found the fish-face funny, "your job sucks and your hours are not convenient to me, if you owned the damn thing i could bother you any time i please and you could run it to hell since it would be a sink not much bigger than what i already spend on sundays."
His face shifted first too disgust, then to suspicion and then when he could find not flaws in the argument he was back to bewilderment. He didn't know where to begin so he simply laughed. "How would I know how to run a whore house? Why would I want to run one and sully the name of Pyce?"
"then tear it down and make is a fast-food restaurant that serves raspberry slushies and steak sandwiches and call it a family tradition, i honestly do not give a damn, do you want it or not?" growing exasperated he found himself going from an idle offer to wanting to just try and get an answer from the man. he frowned as the confused face resolved into one of dismissive emptiness. "give me time to think clearly please." the frown deepened. "fine, but you will have an answer for me before i leave"
Galvin fell back onto the soft blankets. He felt as if he was falling in a trap. Before there were no connections nothing to keep him tied to this man but the promise of good sex. Now he wanted something more from this man, that he knew he could not have. His other lovers did not get it and Galvin was no exception. Confused and conflicted he let his mind erase of the emotional complications and realized he knew little about business at all. Beneath his hand covered face Galvin laughed. “If that were the case you should invest in that sea food restaurant as well.” He did not bother to look at the other. “I do not know anything about business.” He realized his next question damned him and still could not bring himself to look at Ambrosia.“Why are you going through such lengths to be with me?”
another snort, "....you work harder than the others, why wouldn't i pay you accordingly? i am not an unfair man no matter what else you would think to call me"
“Dick” Galvin pulled the hand away from his face and pushed himself back up to meet the others face. Evey thought was pushed to the back of his mind. For a brief moment he looked into the gray eyes. His lips found their way on to Ambrosia's.
he felt relieved as the topic moved back to safer waters and lips found his own, taking the kiss more gently than usual he managed to make pyce lay back down properly before breaking away. "you should sleep, i will feed you when you wake"
Galvin woke from a fitful sleep full of hookers and the strange scent of fried fish. He blinked at his alarm clock, not set to go off for another hour or so. Unable to recapture sleep, Galvin lay listening to the foreign sounds of the apartment before rising and sauntering off to the shower.
he could hear galvin going into the bathroom and pausing in his task of feeding the dog bits of fried clam he stood and setting the box down followed after
He waited until the water grew warm before slipping under the shower. Galvin let thoughts of running a business wash ot of his mind and turned his attention back to the bumps along his chest. Soon they were clouded by rich bubbles that cloaked his entire torso.
when he got into the bathroom and slipped out of his clothes he sidled into the tub behind pyce
He felt the other man slide behind the curtains and come up behind him. Galvin turned, pulling him under the water and gracing his the curve of his jaw with light kisses. “You taste like fish.” He said oddly with a curious brow.
