Kyoshi drank through the bottle he had quickly not stopping for breath, when the bottle was empty he let out a deep sigh as he screwed the lid back on and nodded some though he still look weak and quite sickly "If you have ever pretended to be something you are not... then you have acted" he say smiling "I'll be fine" he whisper walking into the room and sat on the floor like everyone else, which was just as well as he was ready to blackout again

Ryou kept an eye on him during class, making sure he didn't pass out. When he was close, he'd shove some chocolate in his mouth. That went on for the 2 hour class until their break. "you feeling okay now. Or is this going to be an all day occurance?" He teased lightly, helping him up off the floor. "What's next? Math?" He chuckled as he got their things together. He stopped at the vending machine. "too bad these aren't allowed in class. You could sip it all class and stay awake. With all the other stuff too."

Eyes went wide as a piece of his favorite chocolate was shoved into his mouth a blush coming to his cheeks as he lets out a small happy squeal in pleasure as he felt the cherry crisp liquid touch his tongue, he rather not have someone feed him especially in front of others but he knew Ryou meant well considering his condition at the moment "For today this will be the norm... I stopped eating chocolate for to long so I am pretty much crashing" he say his eyes closing as he felt kind of humiliated to admit it, it really didn't help hearing some of the others calling him a sugar junkie.

Seeing Ryou's hand, he took it and accepted the help to his feet "Math isn't till after lunch... we would normally have physical education but we have been given permission to give the class a miss" he say walking to the vending machine with Ryou "I don't drink energy drinks or stuff with caffeine, I crash to quickly" he say sitting on the seats beside it

"Ah. so we have like a free two hours or what? They taste good though. The coffee flavoured ones anyway. they don't have that effect on me. I can generally stay up and not sleep until the night after." Ryou said, grabbing his sketchbook. "If we have two hours off you should try and sleep some. Oh I suppose I should tell you we've got an assignment in Art. just a draw whatever's in front of you little exercise. He just wants a sketch anyway."

"Three and a half hours... Two hours for class then lunch"he say moving into his bag and taking out another bottle of water "You know it does that because is speeds up your heart" he say before taking a long swig of it letting out a pant as he stopped drinking "I'll sleep after work" he say letting his head fall back "When is the assignment due?" he'd as bringing his head forward so fast he made himself dizzy

"thursday. Since that's the day we get to have the class. I already just finished mine." Ryou chuckled, having drawn a near-sleeping Kyoshi across the table. The teacher didn't say it had to be an inanimate object. "He didn't specify if it could be living or an object. Ah forgot about lunch. And you better. That's probably what you really need more than the sugar is a good night's sleep. Did you want to go anywhere?"

"Gives me two days to get it done, not including today" he say as he tilted his head to the right "I don't have work tonight" he say with a happy grin "Means I can get a project started" all of a sudden it was almost like he was filled with energy "I sleep normally for five hours it's more than enough for me... I just felt so drained after last night and I don't why" he sighed a little "I need to go to a tailors... I need to pick up some fabric" his words where soft as he yawned

"whereabouts is it over town? We could make it over there and back in plenty of time. If you want to go now. Though if your waiting on your pay I understand that too." Ryou stretched, putting the empty can in the recycling bin. He waited for Kyoshi to decide. He'd be close all day in case he blacked out again. He would be glad when he'd get some sleep. "That's still not enough sleep anyway. You should try for at least 8 hours a night."

"I don't know where about it is, I just know it's popular" he'd confess as he stood up looking out the window, he knew no matter where the shop in down was they would be able to get there and back with over an hour to spare as the town wasn't overly big "Oh the thing I posted yesterday, I got paid for it..." he say slowly walking off drinking a bit more of the water "five hundred dollars for complete study notes of advanced chemistry" he say his voice made it seem as if it was nothing more than the two times table

"I had them express it to the store, I can use it all there, or use some of it now and keep a tab or I can just pick it up and spend it elsewhere" he say running off his options, though he would likely get what he needed and take the rest in cash, though stopped when his sleeping patterns where questioned "My mind is always working, five hours is more than enough for my form, it's been like that since I can remember" he say truthfully turning to walk in another direction, Ryou barely knew him and here he was trying to come off like his parent, it offended him

"Fine. But it's strange cause I usually get 8 hours or more. Close to 16 on holidays." Ryou did the comparison. "So you want to go or not?" He thought that was a smart move that way he didn't have to carry around his earnings. "what were you planning on making anyway?" He asked as he opened a bar he'd bought himself. He offered Kyoshi a reece's peanut butter cup as it was a pack of four.

"It's not strange, think about how much sugar I eat daily..." he say continuing to walk away from the other, his voice showing a hint of anger as he spoke "My mind is over stimulated all the time so if I get five hours sleep I count it as a blessing" he say with a soft growl, he couldn't help the way he was and how his body depended on sugar is was his only luxury as a child and when he showed he had smarts and when his parents found out chocolate could help him he was given sugar a lot, so to have someone he had only known for thirty six hours question his sleeping habits pissed him off


"I'll go some other time" he say, ignoring the second question as he changed his mind on making something, what he originally had in mind was going to be a gift for Ryou but at this moment in time he was annoyed with the elder boy and didn't want to give anything. Shook his head to the offer of chocolate "I'll be fine" he say moving to a nearby vending machine and bought a bottle of water and began to open it

"Oh well I'll go ask around for people willing to pose for me." He grabbed his bag, wondering who he should ask. It would have to be someone who was willing to get naked. "Unless you just wanna go back to the dorm. I have some game systems." He noticed a little hint of anger, not knowing it was directed at himself or anything. He didn't know what to do as he had 3 hours free. He could think of things he would like to do. But for one, he's never gotten farther than kissing as well. He blushed lightly thinking before shaking off all thoughts. It's not like they had homework accept the sketch.

"Don't let me stop you, we both have art projects due" he say walking in the opposite direction towards the exit of the school, hearing what Ryou said he stopped and shook his head "I have better things to do than kill braincells on video games, I'm going to the cafe to see if I can work this evening" with that he walked off "Perhaps you could go swimming, since you seem to like it so much" he say walking out the school doors

Ryou sighed, wondering if Kyoshi had a cell phone. After all he did have a laptop even if it probably cost his family to help collect funds for it. He would at least like to know if he was feeling alright and stuff. He would swing by later. Though wondered why Kyoshi was going now since they had classes after lunch still.

Kyoshi moved out of the school building but not off the campus, in fact he headed for the main garden and walked around a bit seeing if anything caught his eye. Where Ryou seemed to find beauty in the human form he found beauty in the nature around him, but in the garden there was so much he had to see that one spark that would draw him in.

After fifteen minutes he found it, the large tree at the center of the garden, under it was the gardener taking a well deserved rest having his lunch with a few butterflies flying around. sitting down he put his pure bottled water down before taking his sketchpad and pencil out and getting around to his assignment he did feel awfully ill and run down but he would get over it at least he was sitting down so the chance of harm would be minimal

Ryou stayed in the dorm, tidying up some and looking to see if Kyoshi had a cell. If he did, it was probably on him. He decided to look through Kyoshi's things to understand him better. If he came back he would have everything where it had been. Soon as he looked at one thing, he placed it back to where it belonged. After he was done checking out the stuff, he decided to make a grocery list of things they were running out of.

Kyoshi would remain in the garden he had the basic sketch done and was now working on giving it detail. Feeling dizzy he picked up the water he bought and drank some quickly hoping it would be enough to take the dizziness away but it wasn't but he refused to change to the sugar water, he wanted to prove he didn't need sugar to get through a day, slowly he brought a shaky hand to his mouth and yawned he knew he was crashing he knew it from the blackout this morning but still Ryou's words and teasing had really got to him more than any of the other students, more so because they lived together. "I-I I don't need the sugar" he turned his head away from the sketch to the left just by that one action if anyone had heard him they would be able to tell he was unconvinced or lying.

Soon though he opened his eyes and went back to his assignment at times taking deep breaths as he tried to use oxygen alone to get him through the day but he had no idea how long that would last but would try and go the rest of the day without sugar.

As Ryou looked though Kyoshi's thinks he could tell his family were on extremely low income to the point many of Kiyoshi's belongings where passed down to him from other siblings, but even though he had little he was still happy and that was shown by the picture he had where he, his parents, two elder brothers and elder sister where all laughing at a small picnic. Getting to the right drawer of his desk however Ryou wouldn't be able to get into it, as it had been locked so it was obvious Kiyoshi had something he didn't want to share within it. in the left side drawer would be a calender stating birthdays, looking though it all the birthdays of his family would be listed as would Ryou's and his own. The drawer underneath held his schedule and it was would now be apparent why Kyoshi slept so little, through work, clubs, homework he just had no time left to himself even with so little sleep. Also in the drawer would be Kioshi's last medical report giving him a clean bill of health but stating his body had become as much dependent on sugar as it had on water and without it blackouts or worse could happen. The medical report had been addressed to the headmaster

Ryou finished up on the list and studied the report before going out looking for him. It was almost time for class now and they would have to get there. He roamed around a few places, his last stop being the garden. He was glad because that exhausted him to run around all over. He found Kyoshi barely hanging on as he stopped by. "It's almost time for class. Want to go now since it's almost time for the bell?" He looked like he might black out again, wondering if he'd been avoiding sugar.

Kyoshi looked up as he drank the last of the water he had bought hearing Ryou's he smiled a little taking the bottle down from his mouth "It's almost lunch time" he say standing up on unsteady legs placing his sketchpad and pencil into his book-bag and headed towards the roof using the wall to keep him stable, stopping every now and then to take a deep breath before continuing 'I can do it' he kept repeating to himself trying to reassure himself, he himself didn't know what was in his doctors report only what the doctor had told him and that was his health was perfectly fine.

once getting on the roof he found a place to sit in the shade and brought out his lunch, he looked to the bottles filled with sugar and turned his eyes away, "Should have picked up something to drink" he would say to the other when he arrived

Ryou frowned. "It's not your fault you get a little dependant on the stuff. Me i'm addicted to those books. Cannot stop buying them." He was also addicted to certain candies and some porn. He could not go a full week without it. Any of those things. He sat and ate what he packed and what Kyoshi had made.

Kyoshi looked to the elder boy for a second before he looked down and to the left "I am not dependent on it" his voice was small as he spoke, he knew deep down Ryou was right about his dependency but wanted to prove him and everyone else that he didn't need the sugar to stimulate his mind and keep him going "So I'm going to stop having it in ridiculous quantity" he closed his eyes for a moment trying to get his bearings as to his eyes the roof was spinning a little, after a minute he opened his eyes and pushed his slice of cheesecake towards Ryou "Here" he'd say simply before beginning to eat what he had made

"alright. Good luck." Ryou sincerely meant it too, he wanted Kyoshi to break that habit if he could or see how far he could go without it. If need be, the nurse's clinic was open til 8 pm. He was thankful for that since their school time ran so late. "what do we have after?" Ryou asked, checking up on him every so often.

At the rate he was going he knew it would be unlikely he would be able to last till the end of the lunch without blacking out but he still wouldn't reach for the sugar water or the cheesecake but sat quietly eating until he was asked a question "I-I-I can't remember" he stuttered honestly, his eyes closing as he tried to focus his mind placing his lunch down he lay on the ground

"you alright?" Ryou asked, not wanting to make him upset or anything but it looked like he was going to pass out with how he was lying down. He really figured Kyoshi should be less stubborn and face facts. He might be able to break it if he cuts back gradually, not cold turkey.

Kyoshi shook his head to the question "I feel dizzy, frustrated I can't remember what I have memorized and very tired..." he say honestly "I have done since work yesterday and I don't know why" this was also said in honesty, but then while he was at work he couldn't have sugar as often as his body required it, he slowly moved his arm over his head to cover his eyes hoping it would help him think straight "English, math, break, art, drama, break and music to finish" he say weakly as he ran off the rest of today's time table

"alright then. I'm sure if you gradually ween yourself off so much and not try to quit cold turkey it might actually work out well. But right now it doesn't look too good from up here." He said honestly as he offered half of Kyoshi's cheesecake back to him. He was really too full to finish it off and it would help Kyoshi out a bit.

"I don't need to ween myself off anyth---" his arm slipped off his eyes as he blacked-out once more, he was forcing himself further than he knew he should have, but still the words Ryou and the others had said about his need for sugar made him more than a little aware about he reliant on sweets and he felt like he had to prove them wrong that he didn't need it to continue

Ryou cut off a small piece of the cheesecake, making Kyoshi eat it to come to. "I know you're trying hard that;s why I say it's better to ween off in small amounts than to just try and quit like that." He said, he didn't care if Kyoshi was conscious yet to listen to it or not. He added a 'you're too stubborn for your own good...maybe that's why I find myself falling for you' as he honestly meant the last part as he thought of the dreams. He never normally dreamt of anyone at all.

Kyoshi's eyes flickered open slightly when he tasted the cheesecake "It's not sweet enough" he would say complaining at his own cooking, he just lay there longer closing his eyes "My body can't function without a high concentration of sugar... it never will be able to, even if I try and ween myself off it" he say his voice showing he came to the realization he couldn't help how he was "Ryou can you help me up... I wouldn't normally ask but my body feels heavy at the moment" he say he had no idea what was said when he blacked out and perhaps that was a good thing as he still didn't understand relationships

"Sure" Ryou gave him his hand and pulled him up, pushing him into his chest until he got his balance. He'd hug him until he'd try to push away. He was slightly relieved to see he hadn't heard that last bit. He was still unsure of it himself but would soon believe it to be true. "Now which do you want. I was carrying around a variety of things as I still have most of them."

Kyoshi allowed himself to be helped up and even hugged into the chest Of Ryou without a fight, remaining there believing Ryou just wanted to make sure he didn't fall back and knock his head "Is there a frozen yoghurt machine in this school, they are high in sugar, and in this weather are a good treat" he say his hand moving to the cheesecake to eat it slowly yawning a little between bites

Ryou was shocked that he was not pushed away as he hugged Kyoshi, not wanting to let go or anything. He did after a few more seconds. "alright. The convenience store on campus might have some of that stuff. If you want to go and check. I like the ones off campus but I keep forgetting we have one too." He packed up his things and helped pack Kyoshi's as he handed him a small sweet to hold him over until they got there.

Kyoshi smiled hearing there could be somewhere on campus with frozen yoghurt, but bit his lip and shook his head "I should finish lunch first" he say as he watched Ryou put some of his belongings away as he tried to finish his bento box, though at the moment he should really be more worrying about his sugar level than his nutrition level. his eyes going wide as a sweet was shoved in his mouth as he was going to take a bite out of his riceball

"Alright. I suppose eating something at all is better than not. that way you shouldn't be hungry in class too. Here. You can put that in the wrapper until you're done." Ryou offered the candy wrapper for the candy until he was done. If he wanted to save it for after. He sat back down, folding his legs beneath himself as he waited.

Kyoshi put his riceball back in his box and put it away sucking on the hard boiled sweet, he took the wrapper and placed it into his pocket slowly making his way to his feet "Yoghurt" he say smiling weakly hugging into Ryou's arm for support

"hmm alright. Then after I expect you to eat that rice ball." Ryou chuckled, holding him up for support and lingering a little. "finish your dessert first then have your lunch." He couldn't help but chuckle as he helped him get down the stairs and headed towards the cafeteria since the convenience store was located in there. He also bought a few things in there, including a drumstick and some more mochi. "wanna try some?" He asked, offering a bite of his drumstick.

Kyoshi smiled and nodded to what he was told to do "After dessert" his eyes gleamed a little, but then he also realized that the rice ball had a sweet filling, he continued to suck on his sweet "I'm going to have to repay you for taking care of me..." he bit his lip but he didn't know how as what can you give someone who already has everything. Seeing the frozen yoghurt he grinned like a Cheshire cat "Cherry crunch!" he exclaimed happily to the point he drew some attention and looked down submissively. When he was given it he found somewhere to sit in the sunlight and ate quietly shaking his head to the offer of the drumstick "It's fatty" he say letting out a pleasure filled sound as he tasted his dessert for the first time

"Suit yourself. But they taste so good with the waffle cone."Ryou, finished his in no time flat. He also bought a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in the little containers too. "I refuse anything that has money value since I could just get it myself. But personal things I like." He hinted, trying to help Kyoshi figure out what could be owed to him. He shook off his perverted thoughts of that by opening his cookie dough and indulged it like Kyoshi did for his yoghurt. "This....is my favourite."

Kyoshi laughed looking at Ryou "You have as big a sweet tooth as I do..." he say though looked down "But why doesn't your body crash like mine if you don't get any?" he inquire showing how naive he truly was on the subject. Hearing that he liked personal things his hand went to his hair and undone the ice blue silk cord he had in it and held it out to Ryou "First thing I ever made" he said showing it had sentimental value "Cookie dough is high in sugar... haven't had it in three years" he smiled continuing to eat his frozen yoghurt

"ah that's because I don't indulge myself all the time. I do daily but not too much. Any food I indulge in. And I'm still growing so I'm hungry every hour sometimes. Junk and stuff helps me keep sedated." Ryou said honestly. "what's your's like. want any cookie dough?" He looked at the cord, wondering if it was to be given to him. He was thinking a little more touchable. He subconsciously kissed Kyoshi on the cheek for the gift. "It was a good start...you've got the talent for it."
