well in mine there is an abandon mine shaft.... with chest and stuff. and There is also dungeons, where the floor is green and a monster spanner in it

the abandoned mine shafts, experience/levels, item enchanting, potion brewing, the end. things like that.

I like the first two, haven't been on long enough to play through the last of it though... but i am in love with all of the new mods, so i don't think i could do it...

now that they're actually starting to balance out the features I'm starting to enjoy them. like actually being able to earn exp a lot easier and having the max level lowered. now enchanting is actually practical. And the villagers are actually becoming useful <3

I have 3 different versions of minecraft o-o One i mod, one with the latest snapshot/pre-released update and one for the regular game.

I have Technic, with all it's mod with the dungeon one, and the normal mine craft updated. 1.3 what ever.... I like that you gain experience when doing normal things.

I love Minecraft, but I usually just play by myself. I went on a server once but I didn't like it as much as exploring and getting stuff on my own.

I'd like to have a server with a small group of steady people. My goal is to build a massive village with an equally massive castle. I already have a small village with a dock, a lighthouse, and a farm house like building.

I need to find myself a new little server to play on. the only one i use now is a hunger games styled PVP server.

Oh, I've been playing on that update version, i just thought you meant the players in your server would kick your butt for some reason :P

I really want to get this game, all of my friends play and they love it! I need to get it, bad!

:D I love Minecraft. Such an excellent time-waster. And, these days, many mods to mess with, too. Been playing since...hmm...way back. Before the "Halloween Update," which ever year that was.

I find the game to be more engaging when using the things in Technic/Tekkit--IndustrialCraft, BuildCraft, RedPower. Perhaps simply because there's so much more to build, so it gives a much longer progression than just getting to diamond tools.

I've actually just set up a server on my own PC. it's got 12GB of RAM dedicated to it, so it's a pretty powerful server. the only issue being i don't have a fantastic internet connection, so that will most likely hold it back. especially for anyone outside of the UK.

It's in 'bet'a right now, with unofficial worlds and such. just sort of testing out plugins and getting things sorted. there's a survival world, and an entirely separate creative world. hunger games styled arenas fighting and some basic things like being albe to lock your own chests.

well the server showed it had steady connection... i think its bc im on 1.2.5 patch and not the recent ones

you should consider getting Technic launcher, the you can have two different versions of minecraft at once. I use the main client for the most up to date vanilla stuf, then technic launcher to play modded versions.

and i also figured that on a server with weather i have the most flammable building :D

seeing as when i was rebuilding it it was struck in the inside .. lucky for me it hit the cobblestone -.o;

it's very unlikely that you will have an issue with lightning causing fires. It's never happened to me before o-o

I built a village out of wood once. After I finished someone told me that lightning can cause fires. That would be very bad.

that's why i like to play on a server with protection >_< got a plugin that will stop certain things, like fire, tnt, creepers in the set area.

Yeah. That's the advantage of playing on PC. I have it on both PC and xbox, but unfortunately the people I play with are only on xbox, so I'm stuck with normal non mod mode.

I don't have the mobile or Xbox version. If i had an xBox i would probably go for it though. i like the older version it's at.

i had it catch a jungle tree on fire before XD i was testing the space needed for my tree farm expansion to include them..

I've officially finished the server I'm hosting of my PC o-o well, sorta. still got the pvp/hunger games arena to sort out. but otherwise it's ready and open o-o

I would love it if some of you guys could hop on just to test the connection for people further afar :3

it's weird. my friend who lives a couple of miles away gets pretty bad lag :/ He has an aweosme PC and better internet than me. i don't get it.

we have the same issue with our friend on our server o.o;
he has a brand new pc and gets dc'ed like gosh every 10 or so minutes and no one else has the issue Dx i get it once in a while ... well before we upgraded the server pc to a solidstate.

solid state is my next move :D got all the RAM i could ever need, now i just need to make it run a little faster and more stable.
and I see you ran into my sisters boyfriend in the server >_<

yeah we have a small SSD and his computer has more ram then mine >w< no sure why our friend gets dc'ed though.. still a puzzle xD
