I know. They're not growling or hissing, but it's a really intense kind of wrestling and pawing at each other. I break them up whenever they start. I need to google around and see if I can figure out why they've started doing it.

Pisces 02-16-2011 10:37 AM

I don't know what to say about the fighting kitties... Hunter and Kahlil would get into tussle that seemed pretty rough, but they still loved each other and we think they were just playing.

Hikori 02-16-2011 10:46 AM

when pets are domesticated- they tend to act like the puppies or kittens or litter of whatever act of normal animal society. or something like that .o.

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 10:48 AM

my cat and dog fight a lot... owo play fight... but my cat bites my dog... cause he's a... erm... he was a stray so he wants to feel like the alpha animal... XD

Hikori 02-16-2011 10:56 AM

actually that's kinda interesting. a dog wagging his tail to be happy is interpreted by cats as wagging their tail to be aggressive. which causes them to run away if the beast is bigger-

also dogs have a tendency to want to give chase when they spot a beast moving swiftly

i've always found that interesting... didn't know if alot of people here knew of that though...

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 11:01 AM

heh.... My cat is bigger than my dog. XD
My cat wags his tail when he's happy... his tail is stone stiff when aggressive... or annoyed...

Pisces 02-16-2011 11:18 AM

I know of the different behaviors in dogs and cats. My mother is a vet and has taught vet medicine. =)

One of our dogs is a rottweiler mix, and she's TERRIFIED of our little ragdoll mix kitty. XD

Hikori 02-16-2011 11:22 AM

cute XD

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 11:25 AM

Lol. My dog was afraid of my neighbors dog. My dog was twice it's size, but that little runt could bark up a storm and teach a lesson! XD My dog isn't afraid of a labrador but he's afraid of a chihuahua....

.rousium 02-16-2011 11:26 AM

Growing up, my grandmother had a dog that had no tail. She would wag her whole back end to make up for it. She also smiled which looked like she was going to attack you unless you knew her.

Morning!

Hikori 02-16-2011 11:26 AM

well smaller dogs tend to be more aggressive than bigger ones- but we're partially to blame for that. when it's smaller we tend to think it'd be nicer and baby them a little- getting them used to being allowed to get away with most things .o.

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 11:27 AM

the runt wasn't babied, though. >_> he's a lesson teacher. He set an aggressive dog straight. XD And that dog he set straight was his father.

Pisces 02-16-2011 11:28 AM

More bites come from small dogs than bigs dogs. XP

But I love when they wag their butts! XD Mom calls it butt-dancing. Kaoru does that, like, she keeps the front half of her body as still as possible and the butt and tail just go crazy!

Morning Rousi. <3

.rousium 02-16-2011 11:32 AM

Haha, yeah! It's pretty cute and just endears them that much more.

Pie. Writing my paper on that devil article. >.<

Hikori 02-16-2011 11:33 AM

my sister's boxers have their tail docked. she didn't clip their ears though. the only reason she had them docked was because she had a friend with a boxer and a small house- the tail was soo powerful that when the boxer got happy- it would smack against the walls. sorta cute but it caused alot of injury to the poor boxers tail.

but yeah- the butt shaking thing they do is funny and cute =P

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 11:36 AM

My moms dog wags her butt when she wags her tail.... but then her whole body begins to wag. XD

Hikori 02-16-2011 11:38 AM

when the mini boxer was a baby- she used to buttwaginstead of tail wag due to the lack of tail. but she would do it when she was walking, and her back leg would fall under. it's hard to explain but it was cute .o.

.rousium 02-16-2011 11:40 AM

That sounds really cure Hikori :) Little buttwaggers. My cats, both of them, they wave their little tails like mad. I just take it as a compliment. I heard somewhere that if a cat's tail is up it means they're happy. Their tails are ALWAYS up. :)

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 11:58 AM

I need whisper wings. D: Marauders flight... it doesn't make my outfit seem to pull together..

.rousium 02-16-2011 12:01 PM

I like your avi actually but the black eyes throw it off a touch, for me. I need to look at the new eyes they added.

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 12:02 PM

ohh new eyes? *goes to look*

Hikori 02-16-2011 12:05 PM

i still like my eyes...

Hikori 02-16-2011 12:06 PM

and who said i had two whisper wings!?! they lie!

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 12:09 PM

I like my silvary eyes. o3o
And someone said you have two whisper wings?

.rousium 02-16-2011 12:12 PM

Oh, those eyes look nicer Amaya! :)

What are the wings you're wearing Hikori? I like the white ones like them.

Pisces 02-16-2011 12:18 PM

If the kitty's tail waves back and forth gently, they're content and happy. If it lashes back and forth like a whip, they're agitated. <3

Hunter always has this weird little curl in his tail. XD

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 12:19 PM

o3o My cat's tail only lashes back and forth when you have a paper wad in hand cause he wants you to throw it over his head so he can catch it. XD
He also lashes it when he is watching birds...

.rousium 02-16-2011 12:21 PM

That little munchmaster, his tail is always like it's in a breeze. He's a very big lover. He goes back and forth between Alan and my chair. He stands on his back legs and gives you a little tap. Then he lays down and rolls over. It means his belly is in need of lovins.

Archaic Kitten 02-16-2011 12:26 PM

Awweh! That sounds adorable!
What's that angel thats pushing your leg? It's so cute! >w<

Pisces 02-16-2011 12:28 PM

That would be hunting mode! Lol. Hunter lashes his tail when Temepst is "staring" at him from the other side of the gate.

Awww! Munchers really loves you guys. Cat don't typically like their bellies rubbed unless they trust and love you

.rousium 02-16-2011 12:31 PM

Ollie Macaroni does it too. They're almost never laying with their bellys up...and spread eagle, might I add. I've never had a cat do that so much but these guys basically live in that position.

It's the..hope box? I think?

Hikori 02-16-2011 12:34 PM

the angel is pandora's box of hope. it also has some of the white varient of the wings on my person. i have the pandora's box of despair, so it's black. i got them for the headphones though. the white box has an angel, the black one has a devil. the other wings i have are whisper wings, and at the moment they're both black but in different places. both of the whisper wings are to the back. i did this to layer them better.

Pisces 02-16-2011 12:35 PM

D'awwww. <3333 Hunter will roll over on his tummy once in a while if he's super relaxed, but then after you start rubbing his wants to play and starts pawing at you. If you stop he leaps up, runs down the hall, then back, and curls up again.

.rousium 02-16-2011 12:39 PM

Kitties are the best. Period. But I can't wait for a puppy!

Hikori 02-16-2011 01:05 PM

I wish i had a kitty .o.

Anurah Loveheart 02-16-2011 01:06 PM

Hikori 02-16-2011 01:57 PM
