stares at some person that lied about having heterochromia + got a fucking ocular implant that could potentially cause her to go blind.

also, speaking of heterochromia, i had a friend that had a brown eye + a blue/green eye. it was p neat tbh.

Merskelly Metalien 09-26-2019 12:01 PM

:] Oh, yea! That is pretty cool! Those are really rare in human beings, cause it's a defect in the genes that's usually the result of inbreeding.
…>-< *pinches nose* why did I just blurt that out?

Similarly, I had a classmate in high school with green eyes and asymmetrically positioned pupils. :D So black eye dot was centered but her other eye's dot was off center, so you could see more of her iris color.
Kinda like this,

but her pupil was towards her ear rather than towards the nose. She could see fine though, :] other than she needed glasses for near-sightedness.

Stabbsworth 09-26-2019 01:11 PM

that's odd. what's it called?

Merskelly Metalien 09-26-2019 01:28 PM

Not sure. :/
It was pretty unusual tho.
Despite that her eye color was a pretty teal green color. :]

Stabbsworth 09-26-2019 01:44 PM

i think i was told that heterochromia can be gained via an astigmatism? idk, i'll have to ask a friend.

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 04:10 AM

hetrochromia is just an error in development when it is something someone is born with. imbreeding is not the cause of it and unless one or both of your parents both have it you probably won't get it no matter how close the genetic line is. it's just improperly dispersed melanin. they are a bit like freckles in that way

i have mild heterochromia iridis(though it is harder to see now that i am an adult and my eyes have darkened). when i was younger i had goldy-bronze flecks smattered about in my irises and though they've gone dark in the last decade or so you can still see the distinct colour differences

fun fact; eye trauma can cause darkened spots too

Stabbsworth 09-27-2019 10:07 AM

eyes are super neat tbh.

i think this might be wrong, but i was told that the cornea heals super fuckin quickly??

i also have no idea why people are sleeping on brown eyes. they're super neat. brown eyes, hazel eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. all pretty. though, i wouldn't know, considering i don't like looking people in the eyes.

Merskelly Metalien 09-27-2019 12:18 PM

I've got astigmatism in one eye. :] My brother in both eyes.
But neither of us have had our eye color really change like our mom's does sometimes. She has hazel eyes, but they have more of a green tint when she's excited or angry about something.
>~>; Which may be partly why I find green-eyed people something to be feared, even if they're totally friendly and docile, and won't threaten to take my lunch money...I'm so used to green-eyes meaning "pissed off". <x}

hrnghghghg moist ocular sacks

Merskelly Metalien 09-27-2019 01:01 PM

My eyes are brown. But I wish they were gold or yellow, like my avis. :c Feel like everyone has brown eyes and it's nothing special.

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 01:05 PM

brown eyes are lovely though, they are the most capable of tolerating sunlight without pain ^^ also there are plenty of shades from tawny to near black

Stabbsworth 09-27-2019 01:06 PM

yeeeeee. near black is like the void. also, depending on lighting, the colour can look like it's changed.

Merskelly Metalien 09-27-2019 01:22 PM

:/ yehh, it's mostly just basic brown. Only when the sun rises or sets does the light make my eyes look golden..but I have to endure sunlight smackin' my eyeballs to see it. x_x
Also lookin' at prettier brown eyes almost makes me wanna cry. <x'] Because I see a more successful me in them..

Stabbsworth 09-27-2019 01:23 PM

hrnghghghhghghghgh hazel eye gang

in all seriousness, nobody really talks abt brown eyes. kinda sad.

Merskelly Metalien 09-27-2019 01:29 PM

:/ Feels like sad..
and like my eye color are equal to the cans of Campbells soup at the supermarket..or like a regular leaf on a tree with bright blooming flowers.. T-T

Stabbsworth 09-27-2019 01:36 PM

beeps softly and sadly.
