Oh, I have no idea what that is, but sounds amazing.

Lawtan 11-03-2014 10:03 PM

It has see-through items and Reaper Scythes

Espy 11-03-2014 10:07 PM

Never really understood the fascination with scythes -- they aren't feasible weapons.

Sadrain 11-03-2014 10:07 PM

Ohh, I am really sad I missed it now. ): (Mostly for the see-through items)

Lawtan 11-03-2014 10:16 PM

Well, someone long ago made the poetic connection between "harvesting plants with scythes" and "harvesting swords*

For myself, Its the closest thing in Trisphee to a Sun & Moon weapon, and looks a bit more impressive than a staff. (And the best weapon I had for that hand...)

Sadrain 11-03-2014 10:23 PM

Now it's half past 4am for me, so I must depart to the sleeping quarters, but I shall return tomorrow!

Lawtan 11-03-2014 10:26 PM

Roger - I have work to do, so g'night matey

Espy 11-03-2014 10:30 PM

Night, Rainy.

Sei 11-03-2014 10:48 PM

Night, Rainy (though I missed you)! :3

I love the idea of scythes in battle, but the never seem to ever look practical. Has no one designed a battle-scythe, or is that just a spear?

Lawtan 11-03-2014 10:51 PM

Closest thing to a "battle-scythe" would be a variation of a spear or hammer...

Scythes are like a peasant's rebellion weapon at best (Alongside clubs made of table legs)

Gallagher 11-03-2014 10:55 PM

Well, there are war scythes, they're just modified so they can move the blade from scythe position to a more spear-ish position.

Lawtan 11-03-2014 10:57 PM

...Wouldn't that be a spear-variant? Or would it be its own unique weapon? *curious*

Espy 11-03-2014 10:58 PM

It would be sort of like a halberd.

Gallagher 11-03-2014 11:07 PM

Yeah, but they're legitimately considered war scythes, so... -shrug- Not a good weapon, but better than a normal scythe.

-hides in a barrel in the cargo bay-

Lawtan 11-04-2014 01:25 PM

And so the creaking ship-of-webs,
Set out in the shadowed sea,
Out towards a cove of pirate yore,
For the secret wealth of old heraldry,

As the shadow of a feline gazed abroad,
The barkeep's cousin oriented the map,
Some old barrels shook and splintered,
While the Captain reigned in the slack.

But, ho! The starboard bow did show,
What creeping mass of globular meat,
Beware, sailors and stowaways boarded,
For an eyeless beast seeks thee to eat!
