Japanese numbers xD

4 = yon
4 = shi

7 = nana
7 = shichi

two different words for those numbers.. D:

I know the japanese don't use Shi (4) that much cause shi can also translate to death..

Ahh..so be careful or you might accidentally tell someone their child is dead when you really mean four?

I always use yon for 4, and I use shichi for 7 in the one's place (7, 17, 27, et cetera), but nana for things like 70, 700, et cetera.

xD the japanese book I got for xmas tells to learn all the words for 4,7, AND 9.. theres is another spelling for nine? D:
