Alas, I have not a 3DS. Just a DS Lite. Never really looked into friend codes much. I thought the issue might have something to do with my brother having secure wireless.

Which version of the pokemon are we using for leveling? Different versions of the game give Mighty different attacks for his level.

I have Pokemon X and Y. you need them to use the bank, thats probably why >< if you don't have one of the games in the ds system, it wont let you into the bank server. I tried with my Black game inside the 3ds and it was like 'put in your x or y nao D< rawr' and i just wanted to move pokes from the transfer box to a differnt box so i could transfer more xD
