Hmm...but imagine: rice pizza crust, spicy mayo, diced tuna/salmon sashimi, some salmon roe or tobiko, a bit of seaweed salad, some thin cucumber slices, and some egg, topped off with shredded nori and furikake.

That sounds way too gourmet to come from Brazil

Oh wait, tobiko but I realize that's just another type of roe. And furikake, I never really paid attention to the name but I used to use that all the time.

Some things I legit didn't know the name in Portuguese as a kid because my mom kept using the Japanese name.

Maybe she can help me figure out what most of the shops are in the Asian district near here.

My mom can't read kanji. They used to speak only Japanese when she was a kid, but it was like... rural workers who haven't been to school so it's not the same of today.

I've failed to retain most of my knowledge of Chinese characters from the twelve years of Chinese school I was put through :| Still speak it fluently, though. Would be embarrassing if I forgot that.
