the sister that is visiting us for the month brought us each a small box of goat milk caramels. i got the goat milk and chai flavor...wasn't bad...

While out shopping for stuff to make Mexican-style hot chocolate, I found condensed, unsweetened, goat's milk in a can. I almost bought it.

I had a dentist's appointment today. Gonna be losing at least one tooth, and may end up losing a second if the root canal and crown don't fix things. Also have a few fillings that need done. Gonna call the place that will be doing the extraction of the tooth that's beyond saving and set up the appointment tomorrow, and I also have to run an errand for Dad. He'll be driving me to and from the extraction appointment, because I opted for sedation because I am super sensitive in my mouth. Otherwise, i would've just had the doomed tooth pulled today.

*imagines Den, half sedated, thinking she's only thinking and actually insulting the dentist's ancestry aloud*

I nearly slugged a nurse as I came out of sedation after having all four of mine out.

Honestly, it's more like...these past two weeks, which have been difficult.

what. how.

I was swinging as I woke up on the recovery bed.

So like, your first instinct after basically waking up was "fite me".

whereas mine is either search for whatever dollkid I brought with me, or fixate on wildlife if I see them outside.

I've had teeth pulled but I was awake for them. With numbing agent. I don't really want to think about how much it would have hurt without, because it REALLY hurt >_<

and that's why I opted for sedation.

I got so scared of having needles *in my mouth* (for the numbing stuff) that I once opted to get a tooth pulled without numbing at all.

It hurt a cubic fuckton. In retrospect, it was probably not the best idea, but I didn't regret it :|
