Ginger 10-07-2014 09:39 PM

I know dem feels. I've been so tired and groggy. Might be the changing season, loneliness, depression, what-have-you. I'm not gonna let it get me down but damn I'm exhausted.

I'm over halfway into season 3 of the Vampire Diaries. I feel like I'm being teased with the whole Damon and Elena thing. WHEN will they finally get together? I've been anticipating this since the first season.

I'm somewhat in the recovery-stage of that sort of thing (apparently, if you want Lawtan depressed, make the month September)

*Hands Ginger gingersnaps*

Ginger 10-07-2014 10:29 PM

What about September makes you depressed?

For me it's my birth month, and the fact that summer is over.

Lawtan 10-08-2014 07:37 AM

I thinks it is somewhat seasonal...as well as most negative things over the last 5 years have occurred in September.

Den 10-08-2014 12:28 PM

The Blood Moon was messing with me today. I kept waking up every couple hours.

Tam I am 10-08-2014 02:18 PM

*throws a cover over the moon, and then mugs Lawtan for gingersnaps*

Ginger 10-09-2014 02:41 AM

I can definitely relate to that with holidays, but I'm starting to realize I have the rest of my life and more holidays to experience. By the time I'm 90 years old, I will probably have every classic Christmas song mesmerized and absolutely dread the mall. I love the Christmas displays though. When I think of the holidays I see me sitting by myself, cross-legged on the floor next to a warm fire in the dark, with hot cocoa or cider, listening to Frank Sinatra's version of Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire. That is about the only way I can find comfort during the holidays, while everyone else I know is having special dinners with their families. It is absolutely the most lonely and depressing time of year.

Lawtan 10-09-2014 06:32 AM

I had one Christmas Eve like that, Ginger. It was honestly my favorite Christmas Eve. Sad that I can't really talk my family into doing it again (as it was an accident in the first place).

Anywho, I've been mugged by a Tam!

Blood moon? Hmm....maybe that is why I felt like a sackload of crap a day or two ago. Or allergies. Allergies are usually the answer.

I used to feel lonely and depressed during the holidays. Now I just watch movies, play with dolls, tell God thank You that I don't have a stack of useless gifts to return at Christmas time. ...That's when I even notice that it's supposed to be a holiday at all. If I haven't made sure I'm stocked up, then I whine about the long weekend. LOL

Buahaha!

Den 10-10-2014 12:37 PM

I like the holidays, mostly because it gives me an excuse to shop for my family/friends. I don't have to feel guilty for shopping for silly little things that I think my friends/family would like during that time of the year.

You're pretty good at present giving, and when you do guess wrong, you're usually happy to be boomarang gifted! XD

I like gift giving too, but not as a thing that I MUST do at a certain time. Most my gifts go out all along the year.

Espy 10-10-2014 03:19 PM

Tam -- Should I be worried that you now seem to have, er, pages?

Lawtan 10-10-2014 04:43 PM

O.O

We have an Espy! \o/

*Gives books, soft lighting, earbuds, music player, and bed*

Espy 10-10-2014 07:28 PM

o.o Thanks. Honestly just what I need right now.

o.0 Pages? What do you mean?

Ginger 10-12-2014 12:02 AM

I'm confused... lol.
In any case, hello. :3

Espy 10-12-2014 12:36 AM

Tam, your siggy says you're a book...?

Ginger 10-12-2014 01:41 AM

Lol I noticed that too haha

Lawtan 10-12-2014 11:17 AM

Lawtan is - *Achoo* *Cough* *Hack* - sickly...

Tam I am 10-12-2014 01:55 PM

OH! *snerk* Yes. I am a book.

And like Lawtan, today I feel like crud. But for me it's the headache.

Lawtan 10-12-2014 02:54 PM

Yeah, a virus is being administered by Illuminati agents that turns you into a book if you don't read!

>.> I don't know where my mind came up with that, but I was dreaming of lollipops melting and polluting the waters of the world for the purpose of world domination, so...yeah...Lawtan is a bit out of it... <.<

On another note, I came up with this for Alien: Isolation

Den 10-13-2014 02:48 PM

So 'Maru decided he was going to crap out on me in the middle of an RP... Thankfully, the part that needs to be replaced is only about $9 on the bay of E, and a new battery for him's going to run me between $13 and 20, so for about $30, I'll have fixed 'Maru.

Tam I am 10-13-2014 03:22 PM

And meanwhile, you and Lawtan are wearing similar colour guys for your avatars.

Speaking of Aliens. You know why they're always in such a bad mood? They accidentally ate all the guys, and now they're all PMSed and have no one to yell at.

Don't hit me, I didn't make that one up. And it would make my head hurt worse.

Den 10-13-2014 04:43 PM

It was totallly unintentional that Lawtan and I wound up wearing the same colors. Pretty sure you can guess who my av's supposed to be, Tam...

Tam I am 10-13-2014 07:08 PM

*studies avatar* *sad face* Maybe I could if my brain was working. Is he an Autobot?

Yup. and he's dating a Nightwish.

Lawtan 10-14-2014 11:25 AM

>.> My character is from a famous Anime movie/novel

Also, that leaves out "how does the Alien Queen produce facehugger-eggs if there are no males?"

*Slaps a heating pad onto Tam's head* Get better...

Den 10-14-2014 11:41 AM

*grins because she knows who Law's dressed up as*

Ahhh. Roddy, stop looking so baby face innocent when 'Wish got you a more manly look. LOL

Heh. I know very, very little about famous Japanese stories.

That's why they're all female. She just pops out kids with the exact same DNA she's got. Except when you get the occasional mutant strain. *has read TOO many 'Alien' franchise books, even though they always TMI and make me wish for brain bleach*

I'm working on the better getting. Thanks, Law.

Lawtan 10-14-2014 02:23 PM

Wait...I understood that Aliens were more like a beehive... (Mostly female, with male drones as essentially 1-time reproductive sacks who die afterwards...)

*Reads up difference between queen bee and queen ant* Ahh...Aliens are more like ants...
*Myrmecophobia (Fear of ants) increases*

I don't think the novel is Japanese...the movie is anime made by "Japan's Disney"

May all your bacon burn...

Den 10-14-2014 03:50 PM

I used to have the DVD for Howl's Moving Castle, but I suspect a theiving Job Corps roommate stole it (along with things belonging to other people) before she was kicked out.

Dorian Pavus 10-14-2014 06:11 PM

you guys gave me your headache. xD
Though I haven't slept in 27 hours so that could be why...

wooo...

Lawtan 10-14-2014 06:50 PM

:(
*Hugs Lilium* Sowwy...I hope it gets better soon.

I am experiencing writer's block...Halp?
(To many things I am trying to blend together into a universe. AAAAAAACK! Overloead! Danger, Will Robinson! Does not Compute! Batteries Not Included! I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream! CTHULHUUUUUU!)

^^An example of my inner insanity

*Sends a dragon after Den's thieving thieferston*

Until then, here Den!

Den 10-14-2014 07:32 PM

I'll watch when I have a working laptop again, Lawtan. :)

Ginger 10-14-2014 07:50 PM

Oh gosh... I hope you get sleep soon, Lillium!

Tam I am 10-15-2014 12:16 AM

Ohhhh. 'Howl's Moving Castle' is one I have NO experience of. LOL

But nope! No male Xenos. Except this one freaky thing that was part human and was the second Riply's grandson. She blew him out an airlock in atmo. And there was enough detail in a JUNIOR NOVELIZATION of that scene to make me feel urky.

Ants creep me out anyway. Anything that freaks out and runs toward you instead of running away when you try to chase them off is very very low on my favourite creatures list.

Ginger 10-15-2014 03:25 AM

Howl's Moving Castle is such an amazing Ghibli movie... one of my favorite, if not my favorite. I love Calcifer. Such a cute fireball...

Lawtan 10-15-2014 08:13 AM

>.> You don't need to chase ants away for them to freak out and swarm you. They don't even need to freak out. You just need to provide a food source and/or be in their way...

A type of army ant is blind, with flesh-tearing pincers...and forms a "sea" of ants capable of stripping a horse to the bone while on the move. *shudders*

I like spiders much more than ants...partly because they eat the little buggers, and partly because they are generally more defensive than offensive. Shelob and Ungoliant forever! (Lord of the Rings/The Simarillion)

Den 10-15-2014 12:22 PM

I finished the scarf last night. *is also updating her ravelry, and other spots where her signature has a progress bar*

Tam I am 10-15-2014 04:28 PM

Yay, scarf!

XD Lawtan, I have bugged Den for years by flipping out over the cuteness of furry jumping spiders.

One of my friends read the novel. I think she was amused by Calcifer too.

OH! And my head's feeling better! I still went back to bed after breakfast and slept till noon, though.
