Yeah, I did that at first. that and "DRIVE LEFT" eventually, I just kept pasting the word left, typing "pit" every 10 laps or so text games are astoundingly simple like that |

I apologize for the annoyance, mdom, but that's just verisimilitude for the genre. One of the challenges of old text adventures was finding exactly how to express what you wanted to do. (Colossal Cave Adventure needed to use "unlight lamp" to turn off your flashlight so the batteries don't die!) I tried to be friendly enough to show the commands in UPPERCASE, which is a perk that most text adventures didn't have. |
