It's not SUPPOSED to do that. :P I... would blame your controller. Try disconnecting it. We built it using a keyboard and while I technically have a dead zone implemented for a joystick I didn't have an opportunity to test it before release.

Tohopekaliga 04-26-2017 02:51 PM

Yeah, I thought it might be that, so I unplugged it then fired up the game again. No dice. Ah well.

Coda 04-26-2017 04:58 PM

That's quite puzzling. I mean, it sounds like something is reporting a value of 0 (on a scale of 0..1) on an axis somewhere, because nothing in my code should be seeing that.

When I have some time to debug, I'd appreciate your help in tracking it down.

It's getting late. I wish I could stay and chat longer, but I should get to bed if I want to get to work before 9am.

Espy 04-27-2017 12:53 PM

Huh, that was an interesting game. ...I'm not as good at it as I was hoping.

Fulkth 04-27-2017 10:02 PM

lol, my avi looks like a hot mess. I'm gonna have to make a new avi once I have some time.

I'm finally getting an art tablet after having borrowed my sister's for a while. It's really fun drawing random stuff with it (my sister's..but the last nib is gone so I can't borrow it anymore xD). Weird because I normally never draw.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:42 AM

Oooh wow! I have an art tablet but I haven't been able to do anything with it. I try, but the fact that I have to draw on the tab and watch it appear on the computer screen and not on the tab totally throws my hand-eye coordination off x.x

dragoness129 04-28-2017 10:31 AM

I've never had a drawing tablet myself. I've tried drawing on the phone screen before, but it was too hard because it was so tiny and my fingers being kinda fat.
I normally just draw stuff by hand.

SparX 04-28-2017 10:57 AM

I am still transitioning from by hand on paper to digital with my wacom XD
Sometimes it gets really frustrating for me XD

dragoness129 04-28-2017 11:08 AM

I can see it being really frustrating. -hugs-

SparX 04-28-2017 11:19 AM

-hugs weary of claws- XD
For me it's a pressure thing. I like to have my hand on the surface, and depending on WHICH tablet you bought depends on whether or not it registers the pressure of your hand too D: Or sometimes I won't realize it was plugged in and a cat lays on it while I'm at work and when I get home I have to restart everything because the sensors are off or something T.T
aka buying cheap tablets gives you even more problems XD

dragoness129 04-28-2017 11:36 AM

My hand does drag across things very easily myself. I would have a really hard time with it I would imagine.

Tohopekaliga 04-28-2017 12:02 PM

My drawing tablet is pen only, so I can rub the thing with my hand all I want and it won't mess with the lines I put on it.

I imagine the pen and touch tablets can be set to not accept touch input while you're drawing, but I don't know.

dragoness129 04-28-2017 12:05 PM

Ooooh, that sounds really helpful!

Potironette 04-28-2017 05:29 PM

My sister's wacom tablet only registers the pen too.
I remember when I first tried using it (years ago!) and utterly failed at moving the cursor x'D. I have no clue what happened though.
It might have something to do with the fact that during some year I changed my mouse speed to something particularly fast. I remember making it smooth for OSU too and never changed it back.
