demo: yeah, I tend to look at wigs a bit...skewed...makes my life easier when making them, but gets me some weeeeeeeeeeird looks.

so, slept hard all night...debating if I really feel up to working on my suit jacket or making the skirt today...the skirt'll probably be easier, and not require the use of the iron that's out to kill all my costumes.

the issue is I think more with the ironing board cover...though the iron that randomly leaks rusty water isn't helping matters...It's old, and I've a new one coming my way, but still, I love the old ones, they do soooooooooo much better(when there's, you know, not issues like that shit) than the new plastic ones.

LOL methinks I wasn't making sense in my 'christ why'd I get a freaking COLD on my first day off and am now taking mass meds' sorta way.

My old iron was from the 80s, it's got a huuuuuuuge iron plate, and the body is old school metal core with minimal plastic presence. Weighs a good bit. New irons are mostly plastic, with minimal meal, usually just a smaller iron plate.
Sadly, as you can see, the old 80s ones will eventually have rust issues. the new ones, not so much, but not as 'hefty' so I find they're less effective for my needs. I have a friend who's getting rid of their 'extra' iron, so I'm gonna snag that one...as soon as I feel up to walking, and breathing, and not sleeping.

LOL I would loooooooove that! I've got through three of 'em, I tend to hit savers and look for the original model I have...but over time they die on me. The new one will just hav eto suffice so I can get my suit done for NDK

LMAO there used to be a program I had that would search site for 'key words' and then email me the pages...it's how I survived working with a huuuuuuuuge forum many moons ago. I could have ti search for the words/actions while I was at work then came home and read it all. no idea what the program is/was called though, so it's not terribly helpful
