Well, what people are wearing doesn't have to be an important detail. :P
I mean, it might be an important detail, but...perhaps not. Maybe they're all nudists, and you'll do a sudden reveal of that 2/3 the way through. |
LOL that's funny, Toho!!
if i describe clothing and stuff, i get more word that way. XD |
It's true, but NOT describing it means more words go into story. :P
And getting to big reveal their nudistry. |
LOL... BUT there's no nudists, so :P
|
So the reader thinks, right? :P
|
i never write about things like clothing or anything until they either become important to the story, or additional description is needed to slow the flow of a scene. i prefer to describe body language over scenery and props.
|
sure, Toho, whatever you say....
Galla, i'm like that too. but with NaNo, i try add all kinds of descriptions - it's my 'fluff -n- stuff.' otherwise, my 50,000 word story is over and there's only 30,000 words? hey, it could happen. |
XD
Well, yeah, I rarely put much detail into clothing and such when I write stuff either. |
I do only if I am trying to establish something about the character like . . . say a girl thinks she is very high fashion but then has some tacky kids wristwatch on, something like that.
|
yep, i'll do that too, Glitch.
