I was banned from zombie games (Resident Evil 5). My husband and his friend couldn't stand my yelps of terror when a zombie was coming towards me anymore. I was firing wildly and panicking.
|
My favorite zombie game is dead island right now
I will admit to jumping and shrieking a few times with that one XD and once every couple of months I try to play slenderman at night with all the lights off but I spend the next week running up my sidewalk at night screaming slendermans behind me XD |
My son got himself in a lot of trouble yesterday for intentionally jumping out and scaring our poor little parakeet.

@coda
That's a really cute story about your son. :D I personally hate it when people jump out and scare me though. D; My mother in law had a pet bird. The cats tried getting up to it for years. Well, one day one of them succeeded and quite literally scared the bird to death. |
i used to have a parakeet . . .
it was in love with itself. Just sat next to it's mirror 24/7 and would lick the mirror obsessively. |

Well, boys will be boys.
Hopefully he won't do it again. Look guys! I found a really cute parakeet on youtube. I didn't know parakeets could talk! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpGbx4fxogE |
I've had quite a few birds.
Mostly cockatiels. Started with lefty- he hated spaghetti sauce and when given a noodle would shake it and get sauce on everyone xD My parents had him when I was 4. Gex, Gray and George were all cockatiels... Buddy and baby, cockatiels we had at the same time we had lovebirds romeo and juliet and the last ones were Screech and Hun, screech died last year. I would be interested in a song bird but I'm currently on a fish binge XD birds are pretty sociable. |
I'm so excited! We're gonna watch the new episode of Fear the walking dead in like 10 minutes!
|
oh i didn't realize there was a new season out D:

Well, it's a good thing he didn't like spaghetti sauce; tomatoes are toxic for most animals. (Technically they're toxic for humans too, but we're so big that it takes more than you could reasonably eat to make you sick.)
Cockatiels don't like water on their food. If you wash fresh greens for them, they prefer it if you pat them dry before giving it to them. So that's probably why he rejected the saucy noodles. Parakeets are surprisingly good mimics for their size -- better than cockatiels. If you want to see a parakeet talking up a storm, look up Disco. He's got a HUGE repertoire of sayings. That's not saying cockatiels aren't good mimics; my cockatiel, Totoro, can whistle the Mickey Mouse March and the My Neighbor Totoro theme. He used to mimic my wife's alarm clock music but after not hearing that for a few months he stopped; right now we're trying to teach him the Chocobo theme. And speaking of Totoro, he's sick. :( Hopefully it's just mild, but he's been sleepy all day, so we're taking him to the vet when it opens. |
Ah I hope everything is okay, it's miserable when your pets don't feel well
