Color hex codes are pretty easy. :)

"hex" means "hexadecimal." Instead of 0-9, it goes 0-f. 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 a b c d e f.

A number like #000000, #ffffff, or #ff0000 can be split into parts for Red, Green, Blue light. The higher the number, the stronger that color. So, all 0s means no color, all fs means all color (black, white). #ff0000 is Red, #00ff00 is Green, and #0000ff is blue. #ff00ff is that horrible magenta color.

I always did like trying to remember all the colors, but that far to many for my liking.

Knowledge is power, and all that. :)

Although, what utility you'd have for understanding hex codes for color outside of web design, I do not know.

I used when I was reading colors at a paint shop to try remember what color I wanted for a room a while ago it was hard to explain.

I really don't remember , I think it was a random fact, all I know is that I woke up and looked I remembered correctly in my dream.
