Den 09-16-2014 08:34 PM

*wants squid. Also wants spicy food like Indian or some Thai*

Tam I am 09-17-2014 04:41 PM

I realized I was wrong. I didn't eat all of it. The head wasn't there, and I gave a couple of the arm sections to my friend.

Hey, I have no prize, but for fun can anybody guess the theme of my avatar?

Den 09-17-2014 09:16 PM

*is knitting a new hat for herself*

Dorian Pavus 09-18-2014 01:25 AM

Law! /hugs/
How is you?

Lawtan 09-18-2014 06:13 AM

*Hugs Lillium* busy, very busy. How are you?

Den 09-18-2014 12:54 PM

It's ridiculous how expensive apartments are. *back to her list*

Lawtan 09-18-2014 01:02 PM

;_;
Sad but true...that is one reason why some people rent spaces and live in tents.

Tam I am 09-18-2014 02:16 PM

I wish I COULD rent a space and live in a small space of my own creation, but stupid zoning laws forbid homes under a certain size. :p

Lawtan 09-18-2014 04:19 PM

Wait...minimum housing sizes? Ugh...

Well, it looks like people with "Tiny houses" tend to have essentially a minivan-styled house, mobile and all...

*Shakes fist at administration*

Dorian Pavus 09-18-2014 11:57 PM

Not bad, I have a test tomorrow though. : (

Lawtan 09-19-2014 12:28 PM

Good luck on your test. Lillium

Yup. And even for the tiny houses that are actually small enough to be conveniently mobile, according to what I've read, less and less campgrounds are letting you bring in homemade RVs. And to declare your tiny home an RV, you need to spend thousands on licensing.

Many tiny homers tend to camp in friends' back yards, from what I've seen. But around here, I think the law even cracks down on that.

Dorian Pavus 09-19-2014 03:12 PM

Hmmm, I think I did ok. : x

Lawtan 09-19-2014 03:13 PM

*Note to self: make a house boat*

I don't like the cracking down on this. Wouldn't it be more prudent to, I don't know, investigate and remove corruption in the government? (I.E. what appear to be a growing number of corrupt judges, who are largely responsible for several cases of police brutality and greedy legislatures being ignored)

Or improve the economy in a non-"throw money at the 1% companies" manner?

Espy 09-19-2014 05:22 PM

LAAAWWWW.

I SUMMONED A GUARDIAN OF NATURE ON MY FIRST TRY.

Lawtan 09-19-2014 07:13 PM

*Jaw Drops^
I have tried 5 times, and no success... O.O

Congrats!

I sort of haven't been on for a while <.<

They've made up ways to tax those, but so far they haven't started telling you how big they have to be. The thing that makes me green is that in Europe and Japan, places I wouldn't wanna go, at least let you have a decent nice little bitty place! Some of the European countries even encourage you to think small! If North American big shots would stop pimping mcmansions, and huge mortgages, and going in debt to have it all, we'd have a beep of a lot less homelessness in North America. But what really makes me shake my head is me, sitting here, the "Welfare Bum", with less than ninety dollars in the bank, and the money in hand to pay back the sixty dollar loan that I had to get from my brother when the butt on my pants died suddenly, am richer than a big percent of people who slave in drudgery to pay the taxes that I get some of. And over the years I've been the fall back person for emergency relief to various people who work the normal jobs and have the normal life. I tell my friends here in Canada who work thank you for those tax dollars. I tell them often, and I try to take as little of the dollars as I can.

Espy 09-20-2014 06:55 PM

Law -- the success rate's estimated at about 5-11%.

Lawtan 09-20-2014 07:48 PM

I am well aware of the success rate. I figured you bribed Lady Fortune with a trip to that buffalo-chips place you went to on Fridays. Lady Luck loves buffalo! xD

Lovely, Tam...I don't really know what more to say xD

Tam I am 09-20-2014 08:56 PM

"Stop ranting"? XD Sorry about that.

Espy 09-20-2014 09:01 PM

Buffalo chips...?

Lawtan 09-21-2014 09:39 AM

I can not recall the name of the place, but it had discounts on Friday Evenings, some sort of delicious buffalo chicken-like dip (Not quite dip, not quite buffalo chicken) and we went by there a few times with others from the KGB. I was late the first time. :f-embarrassed:

Tam does not need to shut up. Lawtan's knowledge on the subject is lacking.

Tam I am 09-21-2014 01:46 PM

Tam has migraine. :p-cry:

Lawtan 09-21-2014 05:37 PM

:p-cry:
*Gives Tam a heating pad for the head, a hug, and some Excedrin*

Dorian Pavus 09-21-2014 10:15 PM

@Tam: Then they would make more moneyz. : p

Tam I am 09-22-2014 01:57 PM

Hugs, hugs is good. I wonder how stoned I'd get on Excedrin...

Ear hurts from my right eye to my right ear today, even with oral painkiller. I tried rubbing some topical analgesic on my temple and behind my ear, and it seems to have helped a little bit.

Sorry for bombing y'all with my whining.

Den 09-23-2014 05:19 PM

I has news. Got hired on part-time at Hancock Fabrics, as the backroom stocker... means I get to go through boxes and boxes of inventory and fabric and organize it all.

Lawtan 09-23-2014 07:01 PM

*Claps for Autobot*

Tam gave me her migraine...and it lead me to create another terrifying fictional character that I may want to forget...

Tam I am 09-24-2014 03:30 PM

Congrats, Den!

Wait... what??? Unless your head was itchy, and then did muscle spasms when you scratched it, it didn't come from me! lol

Ow. Mirth hurts.

Dorian Pavus 09-24-2014 07:19 PM

Tam, is the Red part of your sig German?

Lawtan 09-24-2014 07:43 PM

Itching migraine? O.e

Dorian Pavus 09-24-2014 10:17 PM

itch your brain?
O u O

Tam I am 09-24-2014 10:18 PM

Yeah... guess it's not migraine at this point, but some other kind of headache. It's weird.

And yup, the red is German.

Lawtan 09-24-2014 10:28 PM

O.O

Tam going to be okay?

Dorian Pavus 09-24-2014 10:52 PM

AH! I thought so. xD
I have relatives that speck it,
so I was fairly certain. O u O

Den 09-25-2014 04:38 PM

I can kind of speak it. took a class in middle school... I can say a little bit... but I need a translator most of the time. >.>;;

Tam I am 09-25-2014 06:15 PM

I can read more than I can speak, because I can't make my consonants right. So instead I just make a lot of RP characters with German accents.

Oh, of course! And I'm nearly at the stage where I can laugh at all this ridiculous aching and paining and sleeping all day.

*hugs everybody*

Lawtan 09-26-2014 12:14 PM

:(

*Hugs Tam and gives aspercream (ointment for aches)

Tam I am 09-26-2014 03:27 PM

Yay! *rubs cream on head*

Can anybody guess the old song title that inspired what my avatar is wearing?

Lawtan 09-26-2014 04:06 PM

Raggle-Taggle Gypsy?

I don't likely know...
