Same, busy with a couple classes I'm taking right now and Tris work too. Trying to understand my brain again, though I don't think I ever will. :| Starting to think I probably won't ever achieve complete clarity of my mind, which is frustrating, but understandable, I suppose... :|

I understand Ari. I'm doing a bit of my own writing when I'm able, and finding that I tend to have a pattern to what I write. Trying to break it a bit and test my limits some.

I don't remember the last time I wrote for fun. :( Too many papers.

DaveStrider 02-13-2013 12:39 AM

sup

Arikana 02-14-2013 05:26 AM

@Alpha: Good luck. I hope you can get some writing done.

@Lucid: Well then hurry up and finish school then get some writing done for fun? :P

@Dave: Just a fyi, but we do have a rule against singled word posts so as to encourage more conversation between users. So try to post more than one word. :)
And hi there.

Lucid: 02-14-2013 12:53 PM

Meeeeh, I'm probably more likely to draw for fun anyway. I used to like writing crappy poems and stories when I was in high school but they were probably too crappy for me to keep doing it now. XD

Arikana 02-14-2013 09:31 PM

Probably? What did your old writing stuff look like? :o

Lucid: 02-26-2013 04:36 PM

I dunno, it was like, dumb teenage emo poetry that doesn't make sense or follow standard poetic conventions all the time. I also wrote like half a story in second person.

Arikana 02-26-2013 04:53 PM

I see. o3o Second person? Interesting point of view choice.

Also, why is it so damn hard to keep this thread afloat? D:

Lucid: 02-26-2013 05:06 PM

Yeah, it was interesting. It makes developing emotional character traits easier but it was really hard to write regular story stuff. But that's probably because I'm a terrible writer. XD Good writers probably know how to progress the plot in a meaningful way even in second person.

Because Sei has been away for quite a while. Sei is the lifeblood of Sei's Hideout! And he has been hiding out away from us! D:< GET'IM!!!

Arikana 03-01-2013 04:49 PM

*shrugs* All writer's have a different style, so writing in diff povs can be harder for some writers than others. ;)

Hm, perhaps we ought to begin a search party to find him? :o

Hatake Ayumi 03-03-2013 12:13 AM

(davestrider, I'm guessing you're a homestuck fan? o 3 o?)

Ariii, Sorry I'mma bad memberrrr.
/ keeks you while doing truss member force calculations/

Arikana 03-05-2013 05:10 AM

You're not bad, you're just busy. But I'll find a way to un-busy you.... Somehow. o3o

Lucid: 03-05-2013 03:19 PM

**passes out torches and pitchforks** Sei will be brought back here, dead or alive!

Arikana 03-06-2013 03:09 AM

Okay, let's do this. Let us hunt for the one and only Sei, the recluse! >:D

Alpha 03-19-2013 01:55 AM

Sei has been hard to catch as of late it seems, but it also seems that real life has been catching up to/keeping a lot of people busy.
