...No. *will have to go look at those*

Tam I am 09-07-2014 02:46 PM

XD Let me know what becomes of the looking?

jaguarlyra 09-07-2014 03:09 PM

I like cow themes.

Den 09-07-2014 04:00 PM

I'm more into space-related themes, myself... I like space. It's pretty. :3 *has over 50 hours of nothing but space images in rotation as her wallpaper on her laptop*

Tam I am 09-07-2014 04:06 PM

Do they have cow themes for Firefox? OH. That reminds me. I've got a longhorn steer on my desktop wallpaper right now. LOL He's a cute pet.

Den, that's NOT proof that you're spacey.

jaguarlyra 09-07-2014 08:10 PM

Last I checked they had cow themes.

Den 09-07-2014 08:40 PM

Says you, Tam! XD

Tam I am 09-08-2014 11:59 AM

Saturday was hot enough to put the top down on cars. It rained all Sunday. Today?

IT IS SNOWING.

Yeah, seriously. Even though the trees are still green and the flowers still blooming.

This place is nuts. I love it.

Den 09-08-2014 02:56 PM

Meanwhile, here, it's sunny and partially cloudy.

jaguarlyra 09-08-2014 04:40 PM

What is snow like? I saw it about two times but I don't really remember.

hyjin 09-08-2014 05:32 PM

Depends on the type of snow. There's the wet, heavy stuff that's good for building snowmen and snow forts with, there's the powdery, dry stuff that apparently is really good for skiing on (I don't know, I'm not a skiier). There's the stuff that's like little pellets that stings like the dickens if it blows in your face on a windy day, there's the really fluffy stuff that is easily swept away with a broom....

jaguarlyra 09-08-2014 08:35 PM

So like different kinds of rain there is different kinds of snow?

Yup. Depends on the conditions in the clouds, and the general humidity of an area, really.

Lawtan 09-09-2014 11:20 AM

Hi, I'm sorry I'm not on much at the moment.

SO MUCH TO DO!!!

(Classes, writing, programming, art, outside work...and also a game absorbed my attention this weekend <.<)

Guns of Icarus is fun Airship team combat

And also the miserable, soggy, mess that is just one step up from freezing rain, and which gets one wetter and more uncomfortable than rain ever could.

Den 09-09-2014 06:43 PM

That stuff is evil. *shivers*

Tam I am 09-10-2014 05:26 PM

It's even worse than an ice storm. At least, amid all the sadness and broken things after an ice storm, you can have a little bit of fun putting captions on photos of frozen red vans, or in freeing poor trees from ice jackets.

Den 09-10-2014 07:14 PM

Ice storms make for interesting photos. *nodnod*

Tam I am 09-10-2014 09:33 PM

I bought a manga today. And 'Winter Soldier'.

Lawtan 09-11-2014 06:31 AM

*Points to Junji Ito's manga*

*Shudders* I had nightmares...though they did not involve anything from these, and everything from my Atychiphobia (fear of failure trumping Cosmic Body Horror)

Tam I am 09-11-2014 02:10 PM

0.o *runs away from THOSE manga*

This one's just a pretty adaptation of 'Les Miserables'.

Den 09-11-2014 04:14 PM

*wouldn't mind a manga adaptation of "Don Quixote"* ... >.>;;

Tam I am 09-11-2014 04:46 PM

They have 'Pride and Prejudice'. XD *imagines 'Don Quixote' in manga*

As in the Knight who charged Windmills? Or Don Juan?

The former does have films based on the concept, I think. The latter...I don't know. O.O

Tam I am 09-12-2014 11:09 PM

Yup. She means the nutter.

Den 09-13-2014 02:01 PM

yup. I mean the guy who shouted at, and charged, a windmill. :)

Lawtan 09-13-2014 02:08 PM

Well, there is a play based on Don Quixote - Man of La Mancha

And...this

Den 09-13-2014 03:38 PM

Yup. had to read through the play in high school. :) Honestly, Man of La Mancha'd translate better as a manga, as it's already in script form... but then you wouldn't get the whole story.

Tam I am 09-14-2014 12:39 PM

*totally off topic* Yesterday I ate a squid.

Lawtan 09-14-2014 07:11 PM

Cthulhu cries somewhere...

As in sushi/calamari...or a live squid?

Espy 09-14-2014 10:53 PM

A...whole...squid?

jaguarlyra 09-15-2014 11:05 AM

Raw or cooked?How much?

A squid. A whole squid. Gone.

Tam I am 09-15-2014 04:28 PM

I'd say about a foot long, BBQed and sliced, then eaten with the yummiest sesame sauce in town.

Den 09-15-2014 05:06 PM

That sounds really, really nom.

Espy 09-15-2014 08:37 PM

Okay, that sounds good.

Tam I am 09-15-2014 10:21 PM

I had a slight tummy ache from eating so much meat, and I regretted nothing. XD

jaguarlyra 09-16-2014 12:24 AM

That sounds delicious.

Tam I am 09-16-2014 12:43 PM

It was a nice, tender squid, too. Some seem to have strings inside.
