I should take some around here or watch Fey and Shiba Kun do it.

Angel Spirit Girl 04-30-2011 04:44 PM

I'm sure they even have on-line videos to show you how.

I remember a nice show on sewing that was on HGTV channel years ago.

NikkoGallarado 04-30-2011 05:01 PM

I hate online things they give me a headache.

Angel Spirit Girl 04-30-2011 05:17 PM

Ah! What about DVDs for the TV? They might sell copies.

NikkoGallarado 04-30-2011 06:15 PM

If they did I would do some of that stuff but I like hand on with reakl help from people.

Angel Spirit Girl 04-30-2011 06:33 PM

Yup. That is always best for learning to have help in person.

NikkoGallarado 04-30-2011 07:01 PM

So I would take some class but ask my friends who all can sew first.

Angel Spirit Girl 04-30-2011 07:19 PM

Having a friend help would be cheaper than a class.

NikkoGallarado 04-30-2011 08:01 PM

Yeah that is true.

Angel Spirit Girl 04-30-2011 08:09 PM

Yay for saving money. XD

Fey 04-30-2011 08:12 PM

And I've offered to teach you Nikko :P like, three pages ago LOL

Yeah, actually many schools no longer offer sewing courses, it's part of what started the convo yesterday. Lets face it, they're now talking about getting rid of HISTORY classes, so I can promise sewing classes will be going the way of music and other performing arts classes in the near future.

NikkoGallarado 04-30-2011 08:15 PM

Yeah I know I will come by and watch you and Shiba kun sew. It would help me out some.

Fey 04-30-2011 08:19 PM

yesh, you should do this...though I don't know if the shiba is working on anything atm...hard to tell in the piles o' fabric....

NikkoGallarado 04-30-2011 08:29 PM

lolz that is true.

Angel Spirit Girl 04-30-2011 08:31 PM

No history class?? Are they sane?????? #.#

School children know little enough about history already, and "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it".

Fey 04-30-2011 08:32 PM

if anything we can do what I'm doing for my friend Sam, we got material and she'll learn by making her own Comfy Pants! They shall be Comfy, and Fleecy, and Made By You!

Yeah, have you not noticed that saying is apparently also history? I'm starting to fear for the future considering how we're 'teaching' the next generation
