DX Sei's been workin hard? -gives pillow and blankets-
xD Which are also higher-up healers. Haha. Paladins are fun to play. That reminds me, along with Rogue, a good warrior that can do decent healing is also a favorite class of mine. :3 (Such as beatrix from FF9 if anyone's played that. x3 She's one of my favorite FF characters, coincidentally~) Hai Sai 8D -wavewave- |
XD I actually switch between five groups - the Spellsword, the Healer, the Shadow/Assassin, the Ranger/Druid, and the OP-ed wizard (last one is rare as that means start out as a twig who can't heal himself)
TERA is okay. I am mot sure the gameplay is really unique, but the setting/atmosphere/races are lovely. |
xD What's the difference between a Ranger and a Druid? I don't believe many games I've played has a Druid, thus I've never played that specific class. XP
Hmm. o-o I don't know what I look for in an MMORPG... Probably just finding nice drops. |
TERA has that.
I would like to try the online Neverwinter, but I need some time to figure it out. It is apparently highly rated, and I payed for the ability to create some custom content. |
Ah. x3 Well yeah just getting that nice nice drop thats a really good item is just a great feeling. XD
Only sad thing is that so mmo's have such a horrendous level-up rate. Dx You need to figure it out? o-o Is the online version alot different or something? |
TERA's levelup rate is okay...if you play in a group, because a good number of dungeons need a party (And a good bit of the storyline is tied to the dungeons).
Neverwinter is closer to Elder Scrolls Online, from what I understand. Neverwinter Nights was a 1990's Singleplayer/Multiplayer/Mod game, Neverwinter is a 2010's MMORPG/Mod game. There are differences. |
Alot of MMo's are seeming to be less and less solo-friendly and more 'GET FRIENDS NAO OR YOU CANT PLAY AS WELL AS OTHERS' themed. XD
0-0; I see. -taking notes- |
Lol, there are 4 different Neverwinter games, all made by different people.
Neverwinter Nights (AOL) - one of the first non-textbased (Visual) online games, closed despite popular demand. Neverwinter Nights (Bioware) - essentially the Sword Coast moddable basic 3D game and online capable version of Baldur's Gate, with revolutionary modding abilities (favorite) Neverwinter Nights 2 (Obsidian) - An up on graphics and gameplay, and campaign storyline, from the Bioware version, and otherwise a grow-revival of the game after Bioware stopped support of NWN. Neverwinter (Cryptic Studios) - a fully online game with limited modding, better graphics, gameplay, and good storyline. |
Wow. XD you like Neverwinters~
Hmm. I think I'd like the Bioware or Cryptic Studios one XD Baldur's gate is pretty fun. :3 |
Haha, I never played the first (before my time)
And as I said, I am figuring out the last. Neverwinter Nights 2 has issues, so I never got beyond Mask of the Betrayer (Most awesome short expansion campaign ever - You can kill a god!) |
Wow. XD Sounds like its one of those complex kinda things then XD
|
Well, you have a Spirit Eater set of abilities, with a curse/stipulation being that you have to "swallow souls" or die. It has nightly links to the spirit world, a crusades against the gods of judgement/death, romancing a bald sorceress or a handsome hagspawn, a colorful bear, and a fallen Angel seeking liberation for D&D athiests.
And none of those are real spoilers. And the gameplay is such a constant blend of story, exploration, and fighting, that you are rarely bored. |
o~o Sounds like language of games that I find a hard time getting into. XD
/cant get into complex things |
But...but...it's so cool, like playing in a good movie...
|
Well. yeah. But I find a hard time getting emotionally attached to anything that isn't
|
*rolls in with a bunch of peeps...aka marshmallow aminals*
